Troup Truck Driver Wins Championship
Francis Matlock of Troup, a driver for Brookshire Grocery Co., is a winner in the Texas Truck Driving Championships, said the Texas Motor Transportation Association, the contest’s sponsor.

She won in the five-axle category and is eligible to compete in the national competition in Houston in August.

The state competition tested competitors on driving skills and their knowledge of safety and equipment.
