Around East Texas: Come Meet Conductor Brevig
The public is invited to meet East Texas Symphony Orchestra Conductor Per Brevig from 2-3 p.m. Saturday at Caffee Tazza, 4815 Old Bullard Road, in the La Piazza Shopping Center, publicity officials said.


BUGS HENDERSON
WHITEHOUSE – Bugs Henderson and the Shuffle Kings are scheduled to perform at the Dancin’ Horse Saloon, 15282 Texas Highway 110 Saturday, July 26, club officials announced.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.

TNA WRESTLERS
Professional wrestlers from Total Nonstop Action Wrestling are scheduled to be at Tyler’s Oil Palace at 8 p.m. today, officials announced.

Scheduled to appear are Kurt Angle, Christian Cage, “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles, Awesome Kong, Motor City Machineguns, “Cowboy” James Storm, The Latin American Xchange, Scott Steiner, Tomko, ODB, Jay Lethal, Petey Williams, Shark Boy, Roxxi Lauveaux, Eric Young and Jackie Moore.

“ALWAYS, PATSY CLINE”
PALESTINE – “Always, Patsy Cline,” a tribute to the legendary country singer performed by Zanada Talley as Patsy and Sandy Mclure Mahood as Louise, is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Palestine Civic Center, officials announced.

Seating begins at 6:30 p.m.

General admission tickets are $15 and can be purchased at any Bacon GM dealer in Palestine, Frankston, Jacksonville and Athens.

GLADEWATER OPRY
GLADEWATER – The Gladewater Opry House will be the site of the weekly Saturday Night Opry and the Friday Night Gospel Jubilee, officials said.

Beginning at 7 p.m. today, the Gospel Jubilee is scheduled to feature Faye Mumford, Donald Mitchell, Voice of Truth and Lynn Till as the master of ceremonies.

At 8 p.m. Saturday, performers include Monte Bragg, Cheyanne Smith, Taylor LaCourse, Meghan Mahoney, Brooks Patyon, Andy Jordan, Melissa Evans, Sydney Chandler, Katelyn Edhols and Ashley Darnell.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children. The Opry House is located at 108 E. Commerce St.
