eTelecare, City Of Jacksonville Mark Grand Opening
JACKSONVILLE — Executives and management for eTelecare Global Solutions will join city representatives today at 11 a.m. for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the grand opening of the company’s new outsourcing center.
Jacksonville Economic Development Corp. landed the Scottsdale, Ariz.,-based company in June and expects its opening to replace jobs lost to business closings this year. The telecommunications outsourcing company is still hiring prospective employees. According to a spokesperson at the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, about 200 positions have been filled.
When completed the 35,000-square-foot building that formerly housed more than 200 employees for Alliance Data will accommodate about 400.
