Drillers Report Multiple Wells In East Texas Counties

DEVELOPMENTAL
Freestone County

  • Devon Energy Production Co. LP will drill the C.E. Neal GU B-1 Well No. 15H in the Nan-Su-Gail (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. It will be located 5.1 miles northeast of Fairfield in the Riondo, M Survey, A-25 with a depth of 13,000 feet.

  • XTO Energy Inc. will drill the Orand Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 6 in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. Location will be 1.3 miles northwest of Fairfield in the Shepherd, H Survey, A-34. Total depth will be 12,900 feet.

  • XTO Energy Inc. will drill six additional wells. The L.E. Baty Gas Unit Well No. 2 will be drilled 4.4 miles northeast of Donie in the Donie (Pettit) Field to a depth of 10,000 feet. It will lie in the Bullock, D Survey, A-56 and may also be drilled in the Freestone (Travis Peak) Field. The Eppes Unit Well No. 13 will be drilled 0.6 miles northeast of Donie in the Bear Grass (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field to a depth of 15,000 feet. It will lie in the Peck, N Survey, A-820 and may also be drilled in the Bear Grass (Travis Peak) Field or the Bear Grass (Pettit) Field. The Gilliam “C” No. 2 Gas Unit Well No. 22 and the Gilliam “C” No. 2 Gas Unit Well No. 23 will be drilled in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field in the Chavert, J L Survey, A-10. The No. 22 will bottom at 13,500 feet, 7.8 miles southwest of Teague. The 23 will bottom at 13,400 feet, 8.2 miles southwest of Teague. The H.D. Thomas, Et Al Gas Unit Well No. 9 will be drilled to 13,300 feet, 13.4 miles east of Groesbeck in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. It will lie in the Chavert, J L Survey, A-10. The Gilliam “C” No. 2 Gas Unit Well No. 25 will be drilled 7.9 miles southwest of Teague in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field in the Chavert, J L Survey, A-10. It will bottom at 13,400 feet.

  • In a lease two miles southeast of Fairfield, in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field, the Ivy “A” Gas Unit Well No. 4 will be drilled by Valence Operating Co. It will bottom at 13,500 feet in the Reed, I H Survey, A-23.

  • Harrison County

  • The Blocker (Cotton Valley) Field will see the J. Phillip Thompson Gas Unit Well No. 8H drilled by BP America Production Co. It will bottom at 13,500 feet in the Martin, G Survey, A-447.

  • In a lease four miles northwest of Karnack in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field, the Beatrice Key Gas Unit Well No. 9 will be drilled by Forest Oil Corp. Total depth will be 11,500 feet in the Watkins, R O Survey, A-752.

  • Anadarko E&P Company LP will drill the LeTourneau GU 1 Well No. 9 in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field to 12,000 feet. It will be located 14.9 miles southwest of Marshall in the Watson, S C Survey, A-785.

  • Penn Virginia Oil & Gas LP will drill five new wells to a depth of 14,000 feet. The Bo Furrh Gas Unit Well No. 1 will be drilled in the Woodlawn, Southwest (Cotton Valley) Field, 2.8 miles north of Elysian Fields. It will lie in the Hooper, B F Survey, A-296 and may also be drilled in a wildcat field, the Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field or the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field. The Marsh Gas Unit Well No. 1 will be drilled in the Hardwood (Cotton Valley) Field, 14 miles southeast of Marshall. It will lie in the Wray, J S Survey, A-759 and may also be drilled in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field or a wildcat field. The C C Steele Estate Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 1 will be drilled in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field, 5.1 miles southwest of Elysian Fields. It will lie in the Pearce, E Survey, A-577 and may also be drilled in a wildcat field. The Patsy Keys Gas Unit Well No. 8 and the Patsy Keys Gas Unit Well No. 9 will be drilled in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field, 2.1 miles northeast of Crossroads. They will lie in the Wallace, L Survey, A-744. The No. 8 may also be drilled in the Bethany (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.

  • In a lease 10 miles south of Marshall in the Blocker (Cotton Valley) Field, the T.W. George “A” Gas Unit Well No. 8H will be drilled by BP America Production Co. It will bottom at 13,000 feet in the Martin, G Survey, A-447.

  • Houston County

  • In a lease 19.4 miles southwest of Crockett, in the Fort Trinidad, East (Buda) Field, the Shelly Well No. 2 will be drilled by TXCO Resources Inc. It will bottom at 11,200 feet in the Clark, B Survey, A-23.

  • The Laura La Velle, East (Massive Wx.) Field will see the English Oil Unit Well No. 15H drilled to 2,700 feet by Basa Resources Inc. It will be located 6.258 miles southwest of Kennard in the Rowan, J Survey, A-873.

  • Leon County

  • In a lease 4.3 miles southwest of Wealthy in the Hilltop Resort (Bossier) Field, the Little 4 Ranch Well No. 1 will be drilled by EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. to 19,500 feet in the Viesca, J M Survey, A-30.

  • XTO Energy Inc. will drill the Johns Gas Unit Well No. 1 in the Bear Grass (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field, two miles southwest of Marquez with a depth of 17,500 feet. It will lie in the De La Concepcion Marquez, M Survey A-12 and may also be drilled in the Bear Grass (Pettit) Field or the Bear Grass (Travis Peak) Field.

  • The Ike Watson GU No. 1 Well No. 5 will be drilled 1.38 miles southeast of Jewett in the Jewett (Travis Peak) Field. It will bottom at 11,500 feet, drilled by Forest Oil Corp., and will lie in the Martin, T B Survey, A-637. It may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • Limestone County

  • The Gilliam “C” No. 2 Gas Unit Well No. 24 will be drilled 8.1 miles southwest of Teague in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. It will bottom at 13,400 feet in the Chavert, J L Survey, A-4.

  • O’Benco, Inc. will drill the Sims, Alton Well No. 21 in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field with a depth of 13,900 feet. It will be located 14 miles northwest of Jewett in the Chavert, J L Survey, A-4 and may also be drilled in the Freestone (Travis Peak) Field the Navasota (Pettit) Field or a wildcat field.

  • Nacogdoches County

  • Samson Lone Star LLC will drill the Barrett-Charles GU 1 Well No. 1, the Garrett GU 1 Well No. 2 and the Franki Marie GU 1 Well No. 4. The No. 1 well will be located three miles south of Cushing in the Trawick (Pettit) Field with a depth of 11,000 feet. It will lie in the Oliver, A Survey, A-43 and may also be drilled in the Trawick (James) Field, the Trawick (Travis Peak) Field or a wildcat field. The No. 2 well will be located six miles southeast of Cushing in the Douglass, West (Travis Peak) Field with a depth of 12,000 feet. It will lie in the Brewer, H Survey, A-11 and may also be drilled in a wildcat field, the Nacogdoches, East (James Lime) Field, the Miyagi (Pettit) Field or the Little Ears (Pettit Lime) Field. The No. 4 well will be located 10.5 miles northwest of Nacogdoches in the Douglass, West (Travis Peak) Field with a depth of 12,000 feet. It will lie in the Ashley, W Survey, A-67 and may also be drilled in the Little Ears (Pettit Lime) Field, the Nacogdoches, East (James Lime) Field, a wildcat field or the Miyagi (Pettit) Field.

  • The Tigers Gas Unit Well No. 4H will be drilled in the Martinsville, Southeast (James) Field by Fossil Resources, Inc. It will bottom at 8,200, feet 2.8 miles southwest of Martinsville in the Flores, Hrs. V. Survey, A-30.

  • The Gates (Travis Peak) Field will see the Sutton, H.G. Well No. 1 drilled by Goodrich Petroleum Co. It will be located 14.6 miles southeast of Nacogdoches in the Latimer, A H Survey, A-350. It will bottom at 12,500 feet and may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • EnerQuest Corp. will drill the Peacock Unit Well No. 1 and the Ms. Jackie Well No. 2. The No. 1 will be located in a lease 1.5 miles southwest of Nacogdoches, in the Little Ears (Pettit Lime) Field. It will bottom at 11,000 feet in the Rowen, J Survey, A-482 and may also be drilled in the Douglass, West (Travis Peak) Field or a wildcat field. The No. 2 will be located 5.9 miles northeast of Cushing in a wildcat field. It will bottom at 10,000 feet in the Van Winkle, M Survey, A-573 and may also be drilled in the Trawick, North (Travis Peak) Field, the Trawick, North (Rodessa) Field or the Trawick, North (Pettit) Field.

  • The Regions Bank Gas Unit Well No. 2 will be drilled 10.5 miles southeast of Nacogdoches in a wildcat field. It will bottom at 13,000 feet in the Hamil, S H Survey, A-267, drilled by Ovation Energy II LP. It may also be drilled in the Gates (Travis Peak) Field or the Gates, East (Travis Peak) Field.

  • Navarro County

    Activa Resources LLC will drill the Cerf Well No. 6 in the Corsicana (Shallow) Field. Location will be 6.5 miles southeast of Corsicana in the James Smith Survey, A-726. Total depth will be 3,000 feet.

    Panola County

  • Anadarko E&P Co. LP will drill the CGU 8 Well No. 13 in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. The well will bottom at 11,000 feet in the Longacre, U J Survey, A-403 3.9 miles southwest of Carthage.

  • The Lindy Britton GU Well No. 3 and the Lindy Britton GU Well No. 4 will be drilled in the Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field by Coronado Energy E&P Co. LLC. The No. 3 will be located 12.7 miles southwest of Carthage and the No. 4 will be located 12.8 miles of Carthage. Both wells will bottom at 10,500 feet in the Lewis, E Survey, A-385.

  • In a lease 4.4 miles northeast of Beckville, in the Beckville, North (Pettit) Field, the Parker Unit 2 Well No. 14 will be drilled by Lacy Operations Ltd. It will bottom at 6,900 feet in the Duboise, A Jr. Survey, A-161.

  • Robertson County

  • EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. will drill 10 new wells.

  • The Hanhart Well No. 1 will be located 6.3 miles northeast of Franklin in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. It This well will lie Pereira, P/Grande, J&M Survey, A-32, with a depth of 16,000 feet. The Hill, Bonnie Et Al Well No. 1 will be located 0.7 miles northeast of Owensville in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. It will lie in the Love, D H Survey, A-212, with a depth of 17,000 feet. The S. McLean G Well No. 2 will be located 9.6 miles northeast of Franklin in the John Amoruso (Bossier) Field. It will lie in the Viesca, J M Survey, A-46, with a depth of 19,000 feet.

    The Reeves Gas Unit Well No. 2 will be located 0.6 miles northwest of Franklin in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. It will lie in the Slauter, F Survey, A-335 with a depth of 16,000 feet. The Dodds, R. L. Jr. Well No. 2 will be located 7.9 miles northeast of Franklin in a wildcat field. It will lie in the Pereira, P/Grande, J & M Survey, A-32, with a depth of 18,000 feet and may also be drilled in the John Amoruso (Bossier) Field. The Dodds, R.L. Jr. B Well No. 3 will be located seven miles northeast of Franklin in the John Amoruso (Bossier) Field. It will lie in the Pereira, P/Grande, J & M Survey, A-32, with a depth of 20,000 feet.

    The Sybil Marshall Unit Well No. 3 will be drilled 4.3 miles northeast of Franklin in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. It will lie in the Gray, W F Survey, A-157, with a depth of 15,000 feet. The McLean-Martin Well No. 4 will be located 11 miles northeast of Franklin in the John Amoruso (Bossier) Field. It will lie in the Pereira, P/Grande, J & M Survey, A-32, with a depth of 19,000 feet. The Laxson Well No. 5 will be drilled 9.1 miles northeast of Franklin in the John Amoruso (Bossier) Field. It will lie in the Pereira, P/Grande, J & M Survey, A-32, with a depth of 20,000 feet. The Law Unit Well No. 11 will be located five miles northeast of Franklin in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. It will lie in the Goodloe, R K Survey, A-156 with a depth of 16,000 feet.

    Rusk County

  • The Nana Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 7 will be drilled by Sandridge Onshore LLC in the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. Location will be 5.4 miles southeast of Henderson in the White, J M Survey, A-813, to a depth of 12,000 feet. It may also be drilled in the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field or a wildcat field.

  • In a lease 6.1 miles southwest of Tatum in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field, the Fitzgerald, Elizabeth Gas Unit Well No. 2H will be drilled by BP America Production Co. It will bottom at 13,000 feet in the Dolores Cortinas Survey, A-160.

  • NFR Energy LLC will drill the Jarrell Unit Well No. 4 in a wildcat field. It will bottom at 13,000 feet, 7.8 miles southwest of Pinehill in the McKay, GC Survey, A-582. It may also be drilled in the Minden (Cotton Valley Lime) Field, the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field or the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field.

  • The Freeman Well No. 1 will be drilled to 12,000 feet by PMO in a wildcat field, 1.9 miles northwest of Minden in the Del Rio, S Survey, A-34. It may also be drilled in the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field.

  • San Augustine County

    The Angie (James Lime) Field will see the Timberstar-Waterman Well No. 1H drilled by Southwestern Energy Production Co. It will bottom at 7,600 feet, six miles north of Attoyac in the HT&B RR Co./Waterman, W M Survey, A-620. It may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

    Shelby County

  • The Bradshaw Well No. 1 will be located 9.5 miles southwest of Center in a wildcat field. Newfield Exploration Co. will drill the well to 12,500 feet in the Bradshaw, G W Survey, A-93. It may also be drilled in the Angie (Travis Peak, Transitional) Field, the Angie (Rodessa) Field or the Angie (Travis Peak) Field.

  • In a lease 10 miles southwest of Center in the Stockman (Travis Peak) Field, the Adams GU Well No. 2 will be drilled by C.W. Resources Inc. Total depth will be 9,500 feet in the Hooper, J M Survey, A-274.

  • EnerQuest Corp. will drill the Beard Well No. 6, 3.8 miles northwest of Stockman in a wildcat field. It will be drilled to 9,600 feet in the Humphreys, B Survey, A-285 and may also be drilled in the Garrison (Travis Peak) Field.

  • Upshur County

    In a lease 9.5 miles northeast of Gilmer in a wildcat field, the Hargest Gas Unit Well No. 1 will be drilled by Apache Corp. Total depth will be 16,000 feet in the Robertson, C Survey, A-426. It may also be drilled in the Sand Hill (Cotton Valley Sand) Field or the Sand Hill (Cotton Valley Lime) Field.

    Angelina County

    The Preston Heirs Unit Well No. 6 will be located 3.3 miles northeast of Wells in the Raintree (Hosston) Field. It will be drilled by EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. to 14,000 feet in the Durst, J Survey, A-703.


    COMPLETIONS
    Cass County

    The Nichols Well No. 1 was completed by Stetson Petroleum Corp. in the Rodessa Field. Location is 1.4 miles southeast of McLeod with a depth of 7,041 feet. It flowed with 20.04 barrels of crude per day, no choke size was recorded. Production is in the Pettit Lime formation.

    Cherokee County

    The Chronister Heirs Well No. 14 is located 4.80 miles northwest of Wells in the Doyle Creek Field. It was bottomed at 12,300 feet by XTO Energy Inc. It potentialed 1.968 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 16/64-inch choke. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

    Freestone County

  • The Craig Gas Unit Well No. 1 was completed 6.40 miles southeast of Teague in the Freestone Field by XTO Energy Inc. It was bottomed at 12,373 feet and potentialed 491,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 14/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation.

  • When gauged on a 14/64-inch choke, the Foreman “B” No. 1 Gas Unit Well No. 11 potentialed 1.994 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. It was completed 4.80 miles northwest of Donie in the Freestone Field. XTO Energy Inc. completed the well to 13,106 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation.

  • XTO Energy Inc. completed the Henderson-Lott No. 1 Gas Unit Well No. 6, the Rogers Gas Unit Well No. 13 and the Gilliam “C” No. 2 Gas Unit Well No. 18. The No. 6 and the No. 13 are drilled in the Teague Field. The No. 2 is located 5.1 miles southwest of Fairfield with a depth of 12,637 feet and potentialed 1.062 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke. The No. 13 is located 5.30 miles southeast of Teague with a depth of 12,315 feet and potentialed 4.878 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 13/64-inch choke. The No. 18 is located 7.80 miles south of Teague in the Freestone Field with a depth of 12,970 feet. It was gauged on a 48/64-inch choke and potentialed 232,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation.

  • XTO Energy Inc. completed two wells. The Haskell D. Gilliam Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 11R is located 4.7 miles northeast of Donie in the Freestone Field with a depth of 12,438 feet. When gauged on an 18/64-inch choke, it potentialed 1.486 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation. The Fulton “A” Well No. 9 is located 1.20 miles southeast of Donie with a depth of 14,400 feet. When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, it potentialed 1.350 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • Harrison County

  • Valence Operating Co. has completed the Barker-Botter Well No. 1 in the Oak Hill Field commingled with the Carthage, North Field. Location is 4.3 miles northeast of Easton with a depth of 12,310 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke, it potentialed 1.678 million cubic feet of natural gasper day. Production is in the Bossier Shale formation and the Cotton Valley.

  • When gauged on a 22/64-inch choke, the Woodley GU 1 Well No. 1 potentialed 1.363 million cubic feet of gas per day. Location is four miles northwest of Elysian Fields, with a depth of 11,725 feet. Samson Lone Star, LLC completed the well in a wildcat field.

  • Henderson County

    The Lee Heirs Well No. 1 is located five miles north of Athens in the Thomas Lake Field. Decker Operating Co. LLC completed the well to 12,094 feet. It potentialed 695,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

    Leon County

  • In a lease 6.60 miles northwest of Jewett in the Bear Grass Field, the Gail King Well No. 25H was completed by XTO Energy Inc. The well was bottomed at 17,136 feet and potentialed 21.600 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • When gauged on a 9/64-inch choke, the Story “A” Well No. 1 potentialed 1.582 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Dallas Production Inc. completed the well 14.8 miles northeast of Centerville in the Eunice Field. It was bottomed at 12,477 feet, with production in the Travis Peak formation.

  • Limestone County

  • The Alton Sims Well No. 5 U is located 11.5 miles northwest of Jewett in the Navasota Field. O’Benco, Inc. completed the well to 11,800 feet. On a 24/64-inch choke, it potentialed 2.916 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Pettit formation.

  • XTO Energy Inc. completed the Lyons Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 19, the Beddingfield Gas Unit Well No. 8 and the W.O. Stone Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 15 in the Farrar Field. The No. 19 is located 14.6 miles southeast of Groesbeck with a depth of 12,600 feet. It potentialed 1.217 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke. The No. 8 is located 17.70 miles southeast of Groesbeck with a depth of 14,800 feet. It was gauged on a 48/64-inch choke and potentialed 938,000 cubic feet of gas per day. The No. 15 is located 15.3 miles southeast of Groesbeck with a depth of 13,850 feet. It potentialed 2.230 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime formation.

  • Nacogdoches County

  • When gauged on a 20/64-inch choke, the Blount “A-1” Gas Unit Well No. 11 potentialed 2.132 million cubic feet of gas per day. EOG Resources Inc. completed the well to 10,033 feet. Location is 5.2 miles northwest of Garrison in the Appleby, North Field. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • Wagner & Brown Ltd. completed the Stinson GU Well No. 1 in the Douglass, Southwest Field. Location is 17.31 miles northwest of Nacogdoches with a depth of 11,153 feet. On a 1.25-inch choke, the well potentialed 636,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Pettit Upper formation.

  • The Grolsch Well No. 1H is located six miles south of Nacogdoches in the La Nana Bayou Field. It was completed to 9,098 feet by Samson Lone Star LLC. On a 20/64-inch choke, it potentialed 3.400 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the James Lime formation.

  • Samson Lone Star LLC completed the Cecil Sparks GU 1 Well No. 8 in the Martinsville Field. Location is 15 miles east of Nacogdoches with a depth of 10,694 feet. On a 16/64-inch choke, it potentialed 2.945 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • In a lease 9.5 miles west of Nacogdoches in the Douglass, West Field, the DeVault, C.S. GU 1 Well No. 8 was completed by Samson Lone Star LLC. It was bottomed at 10,418 feet and potentialed 1.004 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • Navarro County

    The Sloan “D” Well No. 2 is located three miles northwest of Powell in the Big “R” Field. It was completed to 9,500 feet by O’Ryan Oil and Gas. It flowed with 475 barrels of crude per day, choke size not available. Production is in the Smackover formation.

    Panola County

  • In a lease 0.8 miles southwest of Long Branch, in the Brachfield, Southeast Field, the Phillips Gas Unit Well No. 1 was completed by Enduring Resources LLC. It was bottomed at 10,315 feet and potentialed 570,000 cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • When gauged on an adjustable choke, the Fender, H.R. Well No. 18 potentialed 995,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Devon Energy Production Co. LP completed the well 5.6 miles southwest of Carthage in the Carthage Field. Total depth is 9,605 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • BP America Production Co. completed the Cypress Point Resources Lease Well No. 1 in the Carthage Field, 20.4 miles northeast of Beckville. Total depth is 10,150 feet. On an adjustable choke, it potentialed 1.810 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Robertson County

  • In a lease 18.4 miles northeast of Franklin in the Bald Prairie Field, the Bumpurs Gas Unit Well No. 1 was completed by XTO Energy Inc.   • The Homer Linecum Gas Unit Well No. 4 is located 16.90 miles northeast of Franklin in the Bald Prairie Field. It was bottomed at 13,234 feet, drilled by XTO Energy Inc. On a 14/64-inch choke, it potentialed 844,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • Rusk County

  • The Freeman Miller G.U. 2 Well No. 2 was completed five miles north of Henderson in the Minden Field. EOG Resources Inc. completed the well to 10,880 feet. On a 30/64-inch choke, it potentialed 120,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak Consolidated formation.

  • Forest Oil Corp. completed the Stroud Gas Unit Well No. 1 and the Stroud Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 4 in the Henderson, East Field. The No. 1 well is located 7.6 miles northwest of Henderson with a depth of 11,400 feet. On a 26/64-inch choke, it potentialed 230,000 cubic feet of gas per day. The No. 4 well is located 7.3 miles northwest of Henderson with a depth of 11,275 feet. On a 26/64-inch choke, it potentialed 180,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • When gauged on a 26/64-inch choke, the Stroud Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 3 potentialed 210,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. This well is located 7.3 miles northwest of Henderson in the Henderson, East Field. Forest Oil Corp. completed it to 11,360 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Anadarko E&P Co. LP completed the Lloyd, C.E. Gas Unit Well No. 107 to 10,980 feet in the Oak Hill Field. Location is 4.5 miles northwest of Henderson. It potentialed 1.482 million cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • The Neal, M.A. Well No. 1 potentialed 1.009 million cubic feet of gas per day when gauged on an adjustable choke. It was completed to 11,205 feet in the Oak Hill Field by Exco Partners Operating Partnership LP. Location is 8.5 miles north of Henderson.

  • When gauged on an adjustable choke, the Reeves Gas Unit Well No. 5 potentialed 836,000 cubic feet of gas per day. This well was completed 3.9 miles northwest of Garrison in the Appleby, North Field. EOG Resources Inc. has completed the well to 9,772 feet. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • Shelby County

  • The Hunt Well No. 4 is located one mile east of Joaquin in the Joaquin Field. Hunt Petroleum Corp. completed it to 10,007 feet. On an 18/64-inch choke, it potentialed 436,000 cubic feet per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • When gauged on a 1-inch choke, the Timberstar-Rusk B 593 Well No. 2 potentialed 4.200 million cubic feet of gas per day. Cabot Oil & Gas Corp. completed the well to 12,810 feet, two miles southeast of Aiken in the Angie Field. Production is in the James Lime formation.

  • Upshur County

    When gauged on an 18/64-inch choke, the Wilson Well No. 1 potentialed 208,000 cubic feet of gas per day. It was completed by Matador Production Co. in the Rosewood Field to a depth of 11,360 feet. Location is 7.6 miles northwest of Gilmer. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

    Van Zandt County

    The Chandler Well No. 3 potentialed 1.686 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 12/64-inch choke. It was completed to 8,275 feet in a wildcat field. Parten Operating Inc. completed the well two miles west of Ben Wheeler.
