Contemporary Christian music singers and groups Jeremy Camp, Kutless, Skillit, Group 1 Crew, Sanctus Real, Leeland, Esterlyn, Phil Joel and Natalie Camp will appear in East Texas beginning Monday at the weeklong “Exalt 2008.”

The week-long “Festival/Sum-mer Camp” beginning Monday will be held at Teen Mania, 22393 Farm-to-Market Road 16 West, about seven miles west of Lindale. The bands will be part of the Teen Mania Extreme Camps that draw youth groups from around the country to East Texas each summer.

Scheduled for Monday at 10 p.m. is the band Leeland, with speaker Ron Luce, founder of Teen Mania speaking at 7 p.m. Jeremy Camp plays at 10 p.m. Tuesday, with speaker Aaron Davis preceding Camp at 7 p.m.

Group 1 Crew appears at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday with the band Skillit closing the evening activities at 10 p.m. Phil Chalmers will speak at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. and David Nassar at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

On Thursday at Esterlyn and Kutless will perform at 10 p.m. Natalie Grant speaks at the 7 p.m. event. Alex and Brett Harris will speak at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Thursday.

Friday’s concert features Phil Joel who will also speak. One Day passes to the camp and evening concerts can be purchased for $39 said Nathan Clingman, director of Extreme Camps and Exalt 2008. The passes give access to the sessions and concerts for the day.

“Enjoy what camp has to offer without the commitment of a whole week,” said Clingman. Meal tickets for $5 are available. A “come-and-go” package for the week’s speaking sessions and all concerts is available for $109.

A camping package on the wooded areas at Teen Mania is available for $129.

“Add-on’s” tickets to the campus pool, lake and ropes course are available the days of the events.
