Last Sunday's issue of your paper carried the most awesome issue of Parade Magazine I have ever read with the cover story featuring articles by Senators John McCain and Barack Obama.

If it doesn't give you a clear-cut idea of whom you should support during this November's election nothing ever will - or you are completely biased.

The cover of the magazine asked the question, "What is Patriotism?" The answers given by our two candidates were very revealing and equally thrilling to me as I learned for the first time that both John Adams, our country's second president, and Thomas Jefferson, our third president, both framers of our Declaration of Independence, died on July 4 - and get this: It was exactly 50 years after they presented the Declaration of Independence to America!

If this doesn't give you "Patriotic goose bumps," nothing will, and also "spiritual goose bumps" as it dawns on you that, yes, God has chosen our leaders in the past and He will in the future, so just go out there and support your favorite candidate because I already know who is going to be our next president. But I'm not going to quit praying about it.
