XTO Energy On Record With Three Freestone Wells

DEVELOPMENTAL
Freestone County

  • The Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field will see the Aycock Interests LP Gas Unit Well No. 1 drilled by XTO Energy Inc. to 13,200 feet. Location is 3.1 miles southwest of Teague in the Polk C Survey, A-497.

  • XTO Energy Inc. will drill the Melvin Waldrip Gas Unit II Well No. 7 in the Bear Grass (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. Location will be 1.5 miles southwest of Donie in the Hume, J Survey, A-297. Total depth will be 15,000 feet.

  • In a lease 4.6 miles northwest of Donie, in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field, XTO Energy Inc. will drill the Craig Gas Unit Well No. 4. It will bottom at 13,700 feet in the Craig, S R Survey, A-158.

  • The Lane, T.W. Well No. 8 will be drilled 1.4 miles north of Kirvin in the Mann, North (Cotton Valley Sand) Field by Lacy Operations Ltd. It will bottom at 9,905 feet in the S P Flint Survey, A-229.

  • Angelina County

    The E.M. Ryan Unit Well No. 10 will be drilled 4.01 miles southeast of Wells in the Raintree (Hosston) Field. EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. will drill the well to 12,300 feet in the Durst, J Survey, A-201. It may also be drilled in the Raintree (Pettit ) Field.

    Cherokee County

  • The New Birmingham “B” Gas Unit Well No. 9H will be drilled in the White Oak Creek (Pettit) Field by Marathon Oil Co. Location will be 5.9 miles west of Alto in the Curl, W Survey, A-184. It will bottom at 14,000 feet and may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • Goodrich Petroleum Co. will drill the Sessions, Rube Well No. 4 in the Raintree (Hosston) Field. The well will be located 1.1 miles northeast of Wells in the Ruddell, A Survey, A-739 with a depth of 13,000 feet. It may also be drilled in a wildcat field, the Raintree (Cotton Valley) Field or the Doyle Creek (Travis Peak) Field.

  • Harrison County

  • The Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Sutton Well No. 2 drilled by Samson Lone Star LLC. Location will be eight miles northwest of Waskom in the Poe, A Survey, A-19. It will bottom at 13,000 feet and may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • The Rogers GU Well No. 1H will be drilled three miles northwest of Karnack in the Woodlawn (Cotton Valley) Field. Total depth will be 13,500 feet, by Wagner & Brown Ltd. Location will be in the Ward, W R D Survey, A-745.

  • Samson Lone Star LLC will drill the Robb GU 1 Well No. 2 in the Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field. Location will be eight miles northwest of Waskom with a depth of 13,000 feet. It will lie in the Dougherty, P Survey, A-5 and may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • In a lease 10 miles southeast of Jefferson in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field, the Taylor, T.J. Well No. 15 will be drilled by Forest Oil Corp. It will bottom at 11,500 feet in the Ward, W R D Survey, A-745.

  • Valence Operating Co. will drill the Fox Well No. 1 in the Woodlawn (Cotton Valley) Field. It will bottom at 13,000 feet, 16.1 miles north of Marshall in the Johnson, G Survey, A-359. It may also be drilled in the Woodlawn (Rodessa) Field, the Woodlawn (Travis Peak) Field, the Woodlawn (Pettit-Page) Field or the Woodlawn (Pettit 6500) Field.

  • Leon County

  • In a lease 8.6 miles north of Jewett in the Farrar (Cotton Valley Lime) Field, the Black Well No. 14 will be drilled by Valence Operating Co. to 15,000 feet in the Rejon, M C Survey, A-19. It may also be drilled in the Farrar, Southeast (Pettit) Field or the Farrar (Travis Peak) Field.

  • The Hannah-Watson GU 1 Well No. 5 will be drilled 2.21 miles east of Jewett and the Hannah-Watson GU 1 Well No. 3 will be drilled 1.4 miles northeast of Jewett. Forest Oil Corp. will drill both wells in the Jewett (Travis Peak) Field to 13,000 feet. They will lie in the Frisman, D M Survey, A-267. The No. 5 well may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • Nacogdoches County

    Samson Lone Star LLC will drill the Sam B. Hayter Est. Well No. 69 in the Douglass, West (Travis Peak) Field. It will bottom at 12,000 feet in the De Los Santos Coy, M & Bros. Survey, A-21. Location of the well will be nine miles northwest of Nacogdoches. It may also be drilled in the Nacogdoches, East (James Lime) Field, the Little Ears (Pettit Lime) Field a wildcat field or the Miyagi (Pettit) Field.

    Navarro County

    In a lease six miles southeast of Corsicana in the Powell Field, the Alexander A Well No. 2 will be drilled by Kilmarnock Oil Co. Inc. It will bottom at 3,300 feet in the Smith, J Survey, A-726.

    Panola County

  • The CGU 17 Well No. 16H and the Caudle, Dahlia O. Unit 1 Well No. 9 will be drilled in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field by Anadarko E&P Co. LP. The No. 16H well will be located 5.1 miles southwest of Carthage in the McCreary, C Survey, A-428. The No. 9 well will be located 4.8 miles southeast of Carthage in the Anderson, B JR. Survey, A-7. Both wells will bottom at 12,000 feet.

  • The Centennial, East (Cotton Valley) Field will see the North Hickey Well No. 2 drilled by St. Mary Land & Exploration Co. It will bottom at 10,000 feet in the English, W Survey, A-194. Location will be 4.7 miles east of DeBerry.

  • In a lease 4.7 miles southwest of Carthage, in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field, the Mason Well No. 22 will be drilled by Devon Energy Co. LP. It will bottom at 12,000 feet in the Hanks, I Survey, A-271.

  • Phillips, Jack L. Co. will drill the Shady Grove Baptist Church GU Well No. 5 in the Carthage, South (Travis Peak) Field. It will be located three miles west of Clayton in the Lindsey, C Survey, A-387 and will bottom at 11,500 feet. it may also be drilled in a wildcat field or the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field.

  • Lacy Operations Ltd. will drill the Burnett Unit 9 Well No. 14 to 7,100 feet in the Briggs (Upper Travis Peak) Field. It will be located 8.3 miles north of Carthage in the Decker, J Survey, A-170.

  • Robertson County

  • In a lease 14.7 miles northwest of Jewett in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field, the TXU 5 Well No. 1 will be drilled by O’Benco Inc. It will bottom at 12,800 feet in the Allen, E Survey, A-57 and may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • The John Amoruso (Bossier) Field will see the Michael Martin Unit Well No. 2A drilled by EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. Location will be eight miles east of Franklin, and total depth will be 17,500 feet. The well will lie in the Pereira, P/Grande, J & M Survey, A-32.

  • XTO Energy Inc. will drill the Mitchell Unit No. II Well No. 11 in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. Location will be 11.4 miles northeast of Franklin in the Denson, O Survey, A-126. Total depth will be 13,600 feet.

  • Rusk County

  • The Henderson, East (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Taliaferro Gas Unit 1 Well No. 11 drilled by Forest Oil Corp. Location will be five miles west of Henderson in the Willshire, T L Survey, A-843, with a depth of 11,500 feet.

  • In a lease 10.2 miles southwest of Tatum, in a wildcat field, the A. Brooks GU Well No. 6 will be drilled by Goodrich Petroleum Co. It will bottom at 12,800 feet in the Grason, W Survey, A-331 and may also be drilled in the Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field.

  • The A. Brooks GU Well No. 7 will also be drilled by Goodrich Petroleum Co. in a wildcat field. It will be located 10.8 miles southwest of Tatum in the Wyatt, E Survey, A-840 and will bottom at 12,800 feet. It may also be drilled in the Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field.

  • NFR Energy LLC will drill the Hardy, John Well No. 8 in a wildcat field. It will be located three miles southwest of Henderson in the Jones, T Survey, A-450. Total depth will be 13,000 feet.

  • The Beckville (Pettit 6800) Field will see the Carter-Hurst Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 2 drilled by H&T Exploration Inc. Location will be 2.6 miles north of Tatum in the F.G. Cherry Survey, A-1002. Total depth will be 7,300 feet. It may also be drilled in the Cuthand, Southeast (Glen Rose 4700) Field, the Tatum, North (Travis Peak) Field or a wildcat field.

  • Shelby County

  • The Bridges, East (James Lime) Field will see the Dunn Well No. 2H drilled by Ellora Operating LP. Location will be 16.7 miles southeast of Center in the Biggs, A Survey, A-59. Total depth will be 7,000 feet.

  • Ellora Operating LP will drill the Alexander Unit Well No. 1V in a wildcat field. Location will be 0.91 miles northwest of Dreka in the Peirpoint, W Survey, A-558 with a depth of 7,300 feet. It may also be drilled in the Huxley (Fredericksburg) Field, the Huxley (6100) Field or the Mei (Pettit) Field.

  • The Huxley (6100) Field will see the Johnson Well No. 1H drilled by Hunt Petroleum Corp. This well will be located 3.6 miles northeast of Martinsville in the Walker, W A Survey, A-771. Total depth will be 7,200 feet.

  • Samson Lone Star LLC will drill the Bam Bam Well No. 1H in the Huxley (Fredricksburg) Field to a depth of 4,000 feet. Location will be 12 miles southeast of Shelbyville in the Haley, M A Survey, A-276.

  • A wildcat field will see the Southern Egg Ranch Well No. 1 drilled to 15,000 feet by Buffco Production Inc. Location will be 4.8 miles southwest of Center in the Howard, J H Survey, A-353. This well may also be drilled in the Stockman (Cotton Valley) Field or the Stockman, South (Travis Peak) Field.

  • Smith County

  • The Echard Heirs Unit Well No. 7H will be drilled 13.4 miles southeast of Tyler in the Parmer, W L Survey, A-767 by Exco Partners Operating Partnership LP. It will bottom at 12,000 feet in the Overton (Cotton Valley Sand) Field and may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • Fair Oil Ltd. will drill the Stevenson Creek Estates Well No. 1 in a wildcat field. Location will be 1.5 miles northwest of Lindale in the Sanders, J H Survey, A-859. Total depth will be 8,200 feet.

  • In a lease 7.7 miles northeast of Tyler, in the Driskell Lake (Rodessa, Gas) Field, the Chisum Well No. 2 will be drilled by Carrizo Oil & Gas Inc. It will bottom at 9,700 feet in the Minor, D Survey, A-644 and may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • A wildcat Field will see the Tyler State Park Unit “A” Well No. 1A drilled by Carrizo Oil & Gas Inc. Location will be 8.7 miles northeast of Tyler in the Flores, F Survey, A-9. Total depth will be 11,000 feet.

  • Upshur County

  • The Houck-Farmer Well No. 1 will be drilled 1.8 miles east of Diana in the Ne Diana (Woodbine) Field by Harleton Oil & Gas Inc. It will bottom at 4,000 feet in the Scott, J Survey, A-440.

  • Maximus Operating Ltd. will drill the Phillips-Wright Well No. 1 in a wildcat field. The well will be located 4.7 miles northeast of Gladewater in the Whetstone, P Survey, A-556 and will bottom at 4,100 feet. It may also be drilled in the Glenwood (Woodbine) Field.

  • The Glenwood (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Gladewater GU 16 Well No. 18 drilled by TKOK Texas Energy Resources LP. Location will be one mile northeast of Gladewater in the Evans, E A J Survey, A-151. Total depth will be 11,300 feet.

  • Van Zandt County

    In a lease 2.6 miles north of Van in the Van (Shallow) Field, the St. Sixtus Well No. 6 will be drilled by Omni Oil & Gas Inc. It will bottom at 1,300 feet in the Nacogdoches CSL Survey, A-620.

    Cherokee County

  • The Chronister Heirs Well No. 17 is located 5.50 miles north of Wells in the Doyle Creek Field. It was completed to 12,300 feet by XTO Energy Inc. On a 16/64-inch choke, it potentialed 2.106 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • Endeavor Natural Gas LP completed the Bruno Well No. 1A in the Percy Wheeler Field. It is located nine miles northeast of Jacksonville with a depth of 12,640 feet. On a 16/64-inch choke, it potentialed 59,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • Franklin County

  • The New Hope Unit Well No. 904 and the New Hope Unit Well No. 1605 were completed in the New Hope Field by XTO Energy Inc. The No. 904 is located 7.6 miles northeast of Winnsboro with a depth of 8,970 feet. This well flowed with 83 barrels of crude per day on a 48/64-inch choke. The No. 1605is located 8.2 miles northeast of Winnsboro with a depth of 8,950 feet. It flowed with 53 barrels of crude per day on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Elledge formation.

  • When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the New Hope Deep Unit Well No. 76D potentialed 578,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. XTO Energy Inc. completed the well 7.20 miles northeast of Winnsboro with a depth of 12,487 feet. Production is in the Smackover formation.

  • Freestone County

  • The Freestone Field saw the Kindon Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 16 completed by XTO Energy Inc. Location is 3.5 miles north of Donie with a depth of 13,120 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke, it potentialed 1.431 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation.

  • The Knight “A” II Unit Well No. 7 and the Irvin Gas Unit Well No. 9 were completed by XTO Energy Inc. The No. 7 is located 5.3 miles southeast of Teague in the Freestone Field. It bottoms at 13,176 feet and potentialed 1.172 million cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 16/64-inch choke. The No. 9 is located 3.60 miles east of Teague in the Teague Field. It bottoms at 12,559 feet and potentialed 317,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation.

  • Harrison County

  • When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the Daisy May Well No. 1 potentialed 45,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. This well was completed to 9,750 feet by Matador Production Co. Location is 18.10 miles east of Marshall in the Longwood Field. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • The Carthage, North Field has seen the Mobley Gas Unit Well No. 11 completed by Valence Operating Co. Location is 6.7 miles southwest of Marshall, with a depth of 11,980 feet. It potentialed 415,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Bossier Shale formation.

  • GMX Resources completed the Baldwin Well No. 9 and the Callison Well No. 5D in the Carthage, North Field. The No. 9 well is located 11 miles southeast of Marshall with a depth of 10,076 feet. When gauged on a 30/64-inch choke, it potentialed 1.765 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. The No. 5D well is located 11 miles southeast of Marshall with a depth of 10,138 feet. On a 32/64-inch choke, it potentialed 1.413 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • The Maude B. Brown Gas Unit Well No. 7 has been completed in the Blocker Field by BP America Production Co. Location is 11.2 miles southwest of Marshall with a depth of 10,310 feet. On an adjustable choke, it potentialed 366,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Leon County

  • The Little Flock Well No. 1 is located 7.1 miles northwest of Jewett in the Farrar Field. Valence Operating Co. completed the well to 14,850 feet. It potentialed 1.799 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime formation.

  • The Gail King Well No. 1AH has been completed 6.6 miles northwest of Jewett in the Bear Grass Field by XTO Energy Inc. It bottoms at 17,075 feet and potentialed 6.600 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • Limestone County

    XTO Energy Inc. completed three wells. The Jeff Thomas Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 16 was completed to a depth of 13,218 feet in the Farrar Field. No location recorded. This well potentialed 1.337 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime formation. The Morton No. 1 Gas Unit Well No. 17R was completed to 12,825 feet, 13.5 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the Freestone Field. On an 18/64-inch choke, it potentialed 2.591 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation. The L.P. Sims Brothers Gas Unit Well No. 13 was completed to 13,042 feet, 11 miles east of Groesbeck in the Freestone Field. On a 24/64-inch choke, it potentialed 496,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation.

    Nacogdoches County

  • When gauged on a 0.75-inch choke, the Trawick GU 17 Well No. 10-C potentialed 370,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Location is 2.98 miles east of Cushing in the Trawick Field. Exxon Mobil Corp. completed the well to a depth of 8,900 feet. Production is in the Pettit formation.

  • Exxon Mobil Corp. completed two additional wells in the Trawick Field. The Trawick GU 5 Well No. 11-C is located 3.22 miles southeast of Cushing with a depth of 8,876 feet. On a 0.75-inch choke, the well potentialed 735,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Pettit formation. The Trawick GU 29 Well No. 5-C is located 3.72 miles northeast of Cushing with a depth of 9,500 feet. When gauged on a 0.75-inch choke, it potentialed 715,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the James formation. The Trawick GU 29 Well No. 5-T is located five miles northwest of Trawick with a depth of 9,500 feet. On a 0.75-inch choke, it potentialed 1.649 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Pettit formation.

  • Navarro County

    The Clay Bain Well No. 1 is located 2.6 miles southwest of Crossroads in the Alligator Creek. Rising Star Petroleum LLC completed the well to 11,880 feet. On a 10/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.178 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Bossier formation.

    Panola County

  • The CGU 5 Well No. 12 is located 2.6 miles southwest of Carthage in the Carthage Field. It was completed to 9,810 feet by Anadarko E&P Co. LP. The well potentialed 1.063 million cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • When gauged on a 30/64-inch choke, the Harris Gas Unit Well No. 4 potentialed 1.248 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. It was completed to 10,111 feet by Basa Resources Inc. Location is 8.5 miles southwest of Beckville with production in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Chevron USA Inc. completed the Beall-Norman Well No. 5 in the Carthage Field to 9,780 feet. When gauged on an adjustable choke, it potentialed 1.152 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Location is 2.2 miles east of Beckville. Production is in the Travis Peak 6400 formation.

  • In a lease 13 miles southwest of Carthage, in the Brachfield, Southeast Field, the Lindy Britton Well No. 2 was completed by Coronado Energy E&P Co. LLC. It bottoms at 12,792 feet and potentialed 6.334 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 1-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Classic Operating Co. LLC completed the Box Gas Unit Well No. 7 three miles west of Clayton in the Carthage Field. It bottoms at 10,190 feet and potentialed 2.640 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • The Beckham Well No. 5 is located 2.3 miles south of Clayton in the Carthage Field. It was completed to 10,200 feet by Sojitz Energy Venture Inc. On a 26/64-inch choke, it potentialed 1.450 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • When gauged on a 22/64-inch choke, the Davis, Vera Well No. 12 potentialed 1.010 million cubic feet of gas per day. Location is 3.10 miles southwest of Clayton in the Carthage Field. Sojitz Energy Venture Inc. completed the well to 10,200 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Robertson County

    The Bald Prairie Field saw the Olene Reagan Gas Unit II Well No. 1, the Biggs No. 1 Gas Unit Well No. 6 and the Milstead Gas Unit Well No. 4 completed by XTO Energy Inc. The No. 1 well is located 18.4 miles from Bremond with a depth of 14,135 feet. On a 14/64-inch choke, it potentialed 305,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. The No. 6 well is located 16.8 miles northeast of Franklin with a depth of 13,320 feet. On a 15/64-inch choke, it potentialed 521,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. The No. 4 well is located 11.50 miles northeast of Franklin with a depth of 13,550 feet. On a 12/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.818 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

    Rusk County

  • The Brachfield, Southeast Field saw the TXU Gas Unit Well No. 4 completed 1.5 miles southwest of Minden. Enduring Resources LLC completed the well to 10,820 feet. On an adjustable choke, it potentialed 1.443 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • The Danville, East Field saw the Lee Gas Unit Well No. 2 completed by Samson Lone Star LLC. It bottoms at 10,877 feet three miles southeast of Kilgore. On a 17/64-inch choke, it potentialed 1.959 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • When gauged on a 22/64-inch choke, the Minor, A. Gas Unit Well No. 16 potentialed 1.960 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Location is 4.8 miles northwest of Tatum in the Oak Hill Field. Energen Resources Corp. completed the well to 10,804 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Enduring Resources LLC completed the TXU Gas Unit Well No. 6 in the Brachfield, Southeast Field. It bottoms at 10,925 feet, 1.3 miles northwest of Minden. It potentialed 445,000 cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • The Harmon Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 4 is located 5.7 miles northwest of Henderson in the Henderson, East Field. It was completed to 11,237 feet by Forest Oil Corp. On a 26/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 344,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • In a lease 21.5 miles northeast of Henderson, in the Oak Hill Field, the Kennedy GU 3 Well No. 6 was completed by Anadarko E&P Co. LP. This well bottoms at 10,655 feet and potentialed 1.252 million cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Goodrich Petroleum Co. completed the Pricer, J. GU Well No. 5 in the Beckville Field, 10.4 miles west of Tatum with a depth of 10,403 feet. On an adjustable choke, it potentialed 1.621 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • San Augustine County

    The Timberstar 350 Well No. 1 was completed by Southwestern Energy Production Co. in the Stockman, South Field, 15.3 miles northwest of San Augustine. On a 20/64-inch choke, it flowed with 80 barrels of crude per day. Production is in the Pettit formation.

    Shelby County

    On an adjustable choke, the Adams Well No. 6H potentialed 2.755 million cubic feet of gas per day. It was completed to 11,979 feet by Devon Energy Production Co. LP in the Stockman Field. Location is 10.9 miles southwest of Center. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
