Texas State Open Qualifying Deadline Today
The entry deadline for the 38th Texas State Open at The Cascades Second Chance Qualifying is today at 5 p.m.
All entries must be received by the Northern Texas PGA via online, facsimile, or in person by this time. This is the final opportunity to qualify for the Championship, and a minimum of 16 spots will be available.
The Second Chance Qualifying is scheduled for Tuesday at The Cascades Golf Club, with the overflow site slated for Hollytree Country Club, both in Tyler.
The Texas State Open at The Cascades is a 72-hole stroke play event consisting of 156 professionals and amateurs playing for an estimated purse of $125,000. The field will play 36 holes before being cut to the low 55 scores and ties.
All four rounds will be contested at The Cascades Golf Club. Unless otherwise exempt, professionals and amateurs gained access into the Texas State Open via an 18-hole qualifying event conducted at 23 sites in Texas and surrounding states during the month of June.
