The three-round event continues today at Lakewood.

Scott’s round put him even with five others: DeSoto’s Sean Luke; League City’s Blake Wilson; Carrollton’s Raine Copeland; Dallas’ Alex Moon; and Midland’s Neil Dufford.

The top three includes Spieth (4 under), Sugar Land’s Johannes Veerman (1 under) and Austin’s Tyler Dunlap (even).
