June 29: America Expiring?
Why the Electoral College? At one time, potential voters were scattered all over the United States. The Electoral College was the best way to assure the elections for president of the United States was a valid election. The Electors are needed in 2008.

The Founding Fathers knew what they were doing when the Electoral College was created. They could have had the year 2008 in mind. This election "season" is the first time I appreciate the "College." Money might be needed in the primaries, but money is not supposed to be a determining factor after the primaries. Money is not supposed to affect this august body of electors. The amount of money that has been raised is almost vulgar. Sen. Clinton, it is said, has more than $22 million.

Sen. Obama apparently thinks he has the election won already. He raised more money than he thinks he'll ever need. He is letting Clinton have millions.

The best thing for this country would be for John McCain to be elected president.

History has shown that a society has always failed after a number of years. Has America's time nearly expired?
