Church Librarians Meet Wednesday
The East Texas Church Librarians Association will meet at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Selman Baptist Church, located on U.S. Highway 69 between Bullard and Jacksonville.

“Our program will be a time of sharing book and library information,” said Ruby Talley of the association. A Dutch-treat luncheon will be held at the Hidden Garden Tea House after the meeting. Call 903-586-1178 for information.


EVENTS
  • Bright and Morning Star Ministries will hold a “Call to Worship Prayer Breakfast” from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Sunday. The event will be led by Rubby Jones Royce at Sweet Sue’s Restaurant, 3350 SSW Loop 323. Call 903-279-7625 for information.


    • VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
  • New Covenant Church, 714 Shelley Drive, will hold a free vacation Bible school from 9 a.m. to noon July 14-18. The school is for children K-5th grades. Call 903-534-9333 for information.

  • Friendly Baptist Church, 1903 E. Front St., will hold “Outrigger Island” vacation Bible school from 6 to 8:30 p.m. July 14-18.
