June 24: Thanks Again
RAVES: Send roses to the Smith County volunteer firemen, police, sheriff's department, paramedics, Homeland Security, National Guard, I.C.E., FEMA and all who so generously donated funds and material when we expressed a need in our myriad responsibilities at The Salvation Army.

A special thanks to our current 41-disaster team members who answered the call for help 24/7, for your dedication to Our Lord to help those in times of need during disasters.

We have been blessed over and over for the privilege of serving others in difficult times.

Due to a conflict with the Women's Auxiliary we have been relieved of all of our responsibilities in the disaster relief, food warehouse and family store.

After serving God passionately through The Salvation Army for 22 years, it appears that it is time for a new assignment.

This comes with much pain and disappointment. However, we look forward to the new adventures that God will provide for us.
