Matchups For Big 12/Pac 10 Hardwood Basketball Series Announced
The second Big 12/Pacific-10 Hardwood Basketball Series will be highlighted by games in Austin and College Station. The games are rematches from last year.

UCLA visits Texas on Thursday, Dec. 4, while Arizona plays at Texas A&M on Friday, Dec. 5.

The Aggies lost to the Wildcats, 78-67 in Tucson, Ariz., last December.

Baylor will play at Washington State, Saturday, Dec. 6, while Texas Tech plays at Stanford Sunday, Dec. 28. The Bears lost to the Cougars, 67-64, in Waco, while Tech lost to the Cardinal, 62-61, in Dallas.

The majority of the games are scheduled for Dec. 4-7, with three taking place outside the four-day series window.

The 2009 games will be played Dec. 3-6, while the meetings in 2010 will take place Dec. 2-5. After this season, new pairings will be in place for the series in 2009-10.

Last season, the Pac-10 held a 7-5 advantage in the Hardwood Series, but overall the Big 12 posted an 11-8 advantage between the conferences in the regular season and postseason play.

The 12 Hardwood Series contests averaged more than 10,000 fans, drawing a total of 123,035 to the arenas.

The times and television information will be announced at a later date.
