ROSES: I have just finished reading one of the most exhilarating books I have ever read: "The Shack" by William P. Young.

In the "After Words" section of the book the author asks the reader to contact their local newspaper to ask for comments from other reader of the book.

The book's cover features a quote from Eugene Peterson, author of "The Message." He writes: "This book (The Shack) has the potential to do for our generation what John Bunyan's 'Pilgrim's Progress' did for his. It's that good!" signed Eugene Peterson.

My request is for your paper to ask for comments from readers who have read or heard of the book.

Green Acres Baptist Church book store has a large table featuring "The Shack" with a 25-percent discount.
