June 9: Re-Writing History
Bush haters are taking great delight in Scott McClellan's new book. Not only has the Left in this country openly cheered for defeat in Iraq, they are re-writing history with main stream media support by their refusal to acknowledge the actual evidence and intelligence post-9/11 Iraq was the next most dangerous target in the War on Terror.
McClellan is seizing on that opportunity and cashing in. However, the book has zero evidence to point to anything new to support that President Bush lied or purposely mislead anyone about Iraq. McClellan offers nothing new or nothing incriminating. He simply states his new-found opinion on the situation, which happens to mirror the opinion of people who have placed the book on the top seller list.
Yes, knowing what we know now, no one would support a decision to go to war in the way we did, but what really disgusts me are all those individuals that weighed the same evidence, supported the decision for regime change in Iraq, and when things got tough they have acted as cowards by masking their initial support with the myth that Bush lied.
If the Left in Congress truly believes Bush lied then it is their sworn duty to put their money where their mouth is and begin the impeachment process. If they don't take action, they are all cowardly liars.
