  • WHITEHOUSE - Whitehouse Planning and Zoning, regular meeting, 6:30 p.m., city hall, 311 E. Main St.

  • LONGVIEW - Longview ISD, regular meeting, 7 p.m. Education Support Center, 1301 E. Young.

  • TYLER - Firemen's Relief and Retirement Board, 9 a.m., City of Tyler Fire Administration Building, Conference Room, 1718 W. Houston. Discuss and consider approval for annual renewal of Officers & Directors Fiduciary Liability insurance with the Hotchkiss Insurance Agency.

  • LINDALE - Lindale ISD, regular meeting, Administration Building. Closed session, 5:30 p.m.; open session, 7 p.m.

  • TYLER - City Council gathering, 11:45 a.m., Cole Park, 1001 S. Vine Ave. Launch of summer food program.

  • LINDALE - Lindale Planning and Zoning Board, 7 p.m., Kinzie Community Center, 912 Mt. Sylvan.

  • KILGORE - Kilgore ISD, special meeting, noon, Administration Building, 301 N. Kilgore. Hire assistant principal for the intermediate school.

  • GLADEWATER - Union Grove ISD, regular meeting, 7 p.m., high school library. Consider approving band trip to Hawaii.

  • CANTON - Canton Planning and Zoning, regular meeting, 6 p.m., city hall, 290 E. Canton.

  • PRICE - Carlisle ISD, regular meeting, board room, 8960 FM 13. Consider substitute teacher pay.


  • TUESDAY, JUNE 10
  • WINNSBORO - Winnsboro City Council, regular meeting, 6 p.m., city hall, 501 S. Main St.

  • MINEOLA - Parks & Open Space board meeting, 5:30 p.m., city hall. Discuss setting fees for Nature Preserve's pavilion, equestrian and mountain bike trail, camping, and discuss GPS map and location names.

  • TYLER - Half Cent Sales Tax Corp., 4 p.m., Tyler Development Center, 423 W. Ferguson St. Consider purchasing restrooms for use at 13 city parks.

  • JACKSONVILLE - Jacksonville City Council, regular meeting, 6 p.m., Norman Activity Center, 526 E. Commerce.

  • JACKSONVILLE - Jacksonville ISD Board, summer retreat, 6 p.m., Dr. Larry Folden residence, 2610 Aqua Vista. Discuss salaries and facilities needs.

  • LINDALE - Lindale Parks and Recreation Board, 7 p.m., Kinzie Community Center, 912 Mt. Sylvan.

  • EDOM - Edom Water Corp. Board, regular meeting, 7 p.m., water department.

  • CHANDLER - Planning & Zoning Commission, special meeting, 6:30 p.m., city hall. Consider site plan for property at 636 Texas Highway 31 East.

  • THURSDAY, JUNE 12
  • EDOM- Edom City Council, regular meeting, 7 p.m., community center.


  • TYLER COUNCIL TV
    Tyler City Council meetings air at 3 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday on local government access cable channel 3. Tyler Planning and Zoning Commission meetings air at 3 a.m. and 7 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday on the same channel.


    TISD TV
    Tyler ISD Board of Trustees meetings air at 7 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month and are rebroadcast at 2 p.m. the following Saturday and 8 p.m. the following Sunday on TISD TV cable channel 19. Regular board meetings typically take place at the Jim Plyler Instructional Complex, 807 W. Glenwood Blvd.
