June 3: Superb Entertainment
ROSES: Tyler was host for the Daughters of the Republic of Texas state convention. During this time, local talent provided superb entertainment to over 600 delegates and their guests from across our state.
Raves to TISD students Channing and Jasmine Jones and their father, Archie Jones, for the beautiful string music they provided during our reception.
Raves to the Cougar Chorale and the Tapestry Singers from Grace Community High School, directed by Susan Boylan, for their lovely and well-presented choral music.
Raves to the Robert E. Lee Texas Swing Fiddlers, directed by Michael Grinnell, for their toe-tapping lively Texas music.
The young people's performances and demeanor were exceptional and we were so very proud to have them represent our East Texas District at our Opening Ceremonies and Historical Evening.
