Tyler Independent School District Students Test Future Transportation

With the high price of gasoline, Tyler ISD students are looking into other modes of transportation and alternate energies.

Construction Technology students in the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Pilot Program from Hubbard Middle School built and modified solar cars. The eighth-graders tested the cars Tuesday.

Each student was given a chance to modify his or her car and race the vehicle.
