Tyler Police Investigating Attempted Robbery at Dunkin Donuts
Tyler Police Department officers are investigating an attempted robbery that occurred at Dunkin Donuts on Loop 323 in Tyler on Monday.
Authorities said a man pulled up to the drive-through window around 2:30 a.m. and ordered one doughnut to go.
The man gave the clerk a torn one dollar bill, but when she turned back around to talk with the man she saw a shotgun sticking out of the car window. The woman ran back inside and called police.
The clerk was not injured during the attempted robbery and officers are searching for the suspect.
