Sixth Annual AIDS Walk In Three ET Cities Saturday
Area residents can participate in one of three walks Saturday that raise money for East Texans infected or affected by the disease.
The 6th Annual East Texas AIDS Walk will take place in Longview, Tyler and Texarkana simultaneously.
Money from the non-competitive 5k pledge walks will benefit Special Health Resources for Texas, a nonprofit that assists AIDS patients in the region.
Check-in is at 8 a.m. and the walk begins at 9 a.m. at all locations.
The Tyler walk will be held at Bergfeld Park, the Longview walk at Teague Park and the Texarkana walk at Spring Lake Park.
