U.S. Rep. Louie Gohmert Set To Speak At Memorial Day Ceremony
GRESHAM — U.S. Rep. Louie Gohmert is set to give the address at a Memorial Day ceremony in Rose Lawn Memorial Park, organizers said.
It is set for 1:30 p.m. on May 26 on the cemetery grounds, 2003 Blue Mountain Road, off Old Jacksonville Highway.
Tiffany Perdue of Rose Lawn said that the Korean War Veterans Association will preside over a solemn ceremony of remembrance paying honor to those who have given their lives in the service of our country.
The ceremony will include the placing of a wreath, the playing of bagpipes, the Pledge of Allegiance and posting of colors, she said.
There also will be refreshments, she said.
