Severe Weather Possible In East Texas Today
East Texas faces a moderate risk of severe thunderstorms this afternoon.
The most likely time for severe thunderstorms will be from 4 p.m. to midnight, the National Weather Service said.
There is a possibility of heavy rain, hail, high winds and an isolated tornado.
Storm spotter groups and emergency management personnel are advised to be alert to the possibility of dangerous and damaging weather, the NWS said.
