Two-Vehicle Wreck Leaves One Dead
On Friday at 8:27 p.m., Tyler Police Department officers responded to a two-vehicle wreck involving a motorcycle and a SUV at the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Carlyle Streets.

Witnesses at the scene said a blue/black Suzuki motorcycle was heading eastbound on Martin Luther King at a high rate of speed and a GMC Yukon heading westbound was making a left turn onto Carlyle Street when the two vehicles collided.

The driver of the motorcycle died at the scene. The driver of the Yukon was not injured. As of 5 p.m. Saturday, Tyler police had not positively identified the deceased. Accident and Major Crime Investigators are still at the scene continuing the investigation.
