Bongo & The Point’s ‘Selfish Giant’ Benefit Tonight
Folk singer and Rabbi Neal Katz of People Attempting to Help and the Del Alma Guitar Duet will open the concert tonight at the Salvation Army City of Hope, 633 N. Broadway, at 6:30 p.m. Bongo and the Point will perform the Tyler premiere of “The Selfish Giant,” a rock opera based on the classic children’s story by Oscar Wilde.
Admission to the concert is $5 and a can of food. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., Proceeds benefit the Salvation Army Summer Youth Program.

The event is sponsored by the Tyler Morning Telegraph.
