UT Tyler Offering Japanese Course
The University of Texas at Tyler will offer a Japanese language course in the fall 2008 semester.

Japanese I is open to all students and is worth four semester credit hours. Enrollment is open online and limited to 25 spaces, according to a statement from UT Tyler.

The goal of the course will be to offer students introductory aptitude in speaking, listening, reading and writing Japanese. It also offers strategies for reading authentic Japanese materials.

For more information about Beginning Japanese, contact Dr. Stephen Krebbs, UT Tyler senior lecturer in philosophy, at 903-566-7456 or Noah Miles, UT Tyler adjunct faculty member and English instructor at TJC, who will serve as the course instructor, at noah-miles@suddenlink.net
