For little ones, the old adage of "to give is better than to receive" still means a lot, and they take it to heart when it comes to parents and other immediate family members.
To get started, come up with a menu appropriate for the time of day. Mom will need energy for all the fun you've planned for the day, so think of proteins and fibers that will make her feel good, but also taste good, too. Don't forget to clean up the mess!

To put a spin on it, create a Creamy Orange Citrus Breeze
Pour 3 cups of the orange juice into a large bowl. Add dry pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk for two minutes. Gently stir in whipped topping. Add remaining 3 cups of juice; mix until well blended.
Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve in six glasses. Garnish with orange slices if desired.

To put a spin on it, try a Very "Bear"-y Parfait
Reserve 1/4 cup of Teddy Grahams and fruit for garnish.
Layer remaining graham snacks, remaining fruit and the yogurt in four 6 oz. parfait glasses (clear drinking glasses are OK, too). Top evenly with the reserved Teddy Grahams and fruit.

To put a spin on it, try a quick breakfast taco.
Kids can top tortillas with salsa and cheese. Heat in the microwave until the cheese is melted, about 30 seconds.
An adult is needed to coat a small, nonstick skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium heat.
Add egg and cook, stirring until cooked through, about 1 1/2 minutes. Divide the scrambled eggs between the tortillas.
