American songwriter and two-time Academy Award-winner Will Jennings stands with breast cancer survivor Arabelia Ramirez as he lends his support for the cure Monday during the annual Dine Out for The Cure at El Charro No. 2 in Tyler. Jennings, whose mother Louella and father Hershel died from cancer, said he learned of the Dine Out for the Cure several days ago and wanted to lend his support. “Anything I can do for a worthy cause,” Jennings said. The event was staffed by local celebrities and all tips and donations go to the Komen Tyler Race for the Cure which takes place this Saturday at Bergfeld Park.
