Tyler Fastball Opening Ceremonies Monday
The Tyler Fastpitch Softball League will hold its Opening Ceremonies Monday at Fun Forest Park.
U.S. Air Force Capt. Darrell Svatek and his daughter, Haleigh Svatek who plays in the league, are the honorary guests. He will throw out the first pitch. He just returned from Iraq from his fourth tour of duty.
A skills challenge will immediately follow the ceremonies.
Mayoral candidates Barbara Bass and Laura Corbett are scheduled to attend.
