‘Dine Out’ Event For Komen Race Set On Monday

The annual Dine Out for the Cure is scheduled for 5:30-8:30 p.m. Monday, at El Charro No. 2, 2623 E. Fifth St., Tyler, officials announced.
Elvis impersonator James Wages and Ballet Folklorico will entertain, and local celebrities join in the fun by serving as waiters, Komen Media Relations Chair Ellen Peirce said.
All tips and donations benefit the Komen Tyler Race for the Cure. Registration will be available for the 10th race, to be held Saturday, May 10, at Bergfeld Park.
The Komen Boutique will be on site for shoppers. The proceeds from the boutique sales also benefit Komen for the Cure and its mission to end breast cancer.
Celebrity waiters include Andy Bergfeld, Peter Boyd, Nelson Clyde IV, Tomi Ellis, Griffin Goodman, Sam Greenberg, Andy Guinn, Chad Hanna, Alan Hossley, Tamara Jolee, Mike Lewis, Joyce Scurry, Gillian Sheridan, J.B. Smith, Ken Waits and Jack Walker.
Dine Out for the Cure sponsors include the Ramirez family, James Wages, Ballet Folklorico and the waiters and staff of Gilbert’s El Charro.
