May 1: Bass Will Make Tyler Proud
Barbara Bass is a lady of impeccable character and integrity. She is a professional with the practical business and management experience that will distinguish her service as the Mayor of Tyler. Moreover, Barbara has demonstrated a commitment to the improvement of our community through years of service in a leadership capacity on local and state organizations.

Barbara has received numerous awards for her leadership service that include the Leadership Tyler Distinguished Alumnus Award of 1996, the Women in Business Champion of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration Dallas/Fort Worth District, the Sam Walton Business Leader Award, The Texas Society of CPAs Distinguished Public Service Award and she was named the city of Tyler Woman of the Year in 1991.

Barbara has identified her goals for jobs, transportation, competitive tax rates, safety and service to promote the quality of life for all residents. Her goals are well defined, but she has also expressed a firm commitment and willingness to listen to citizens about their concerns with an open mind.

Barbara will serve our community with distinction and honor. She portrays the professional dignity I strive to emulate professionally and personally. Barbara Bass is ready to serve Tyler continuing a tradition that has made our city the finest in the state.

I urge Tylerites to vote for Barbara Bass, and we will all be proud to call her Mayor of
Tyler.

Lou Ann Berman
