Longview Man Recovering From Gunshot Wound
A Longview man is recovering from a gunshot wound this morning and the Daingerfield man accused of pulling the trigger remains jailed.

Longview Police Sgt. Carlos Samples said 31-year-old Kyle Williams was transported to Good Shepherd Hospital, where he is being treated after he was shot during a disturbance.

Samples said Williams and Johnny L. Tigert, 43, got into an argument and when officers arrived at the home, 805 Owings, they learned of the shooting.

Tigert was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He is awaiting arraignment in the Gregg County Jail.
