April 27: Left Behind
RESPONSE: A true picture should be painted about the withdrawal of John Tyler IB Program. Let's take on statement from the article which appeared April 18's newspaper. "No juniors in IB are planning to transfer to Lee." My student would if possible. This student has been in the program for six years and after this kind of dedication would love to finish the senior year for the IB diploma.
But, IB has not yet been implemented at the senior level at Lee. These 11 juniors have no alternative.
So, TISD, whatever you do to "fix the problem at JT," there are still 11 IB juniors being "left behind."
