April 27: Great Service
RAVES: Roses to my garbage men - Jason Moore and William Bell. They have proven over and over how great they are, but an incident last week prompted this letter. Their early-morning (7:15 a.m.) run by our home last Friday sent me into a panic as I had failed to get the garbage "can" out in time.
As I watched them pass my house, I dashed outside, grabbed my can and pulled it across the street to my neighbor's driveway (knowing she was not at home).
I knew the truck would be coming down that side of the street in a few minutes.
Later that morning, I went out to pull my emptied "can" back to our property and was amazed to see it sitting in our driveway. Our driveway, not the neighbor's. Thanks, garbage men. You always go the extra mile and we appreciate it. You're the best.
