Bank Of Tyler Opens New Old Jacksonville Location
Bank of Tyler marked the grand opening of its new location, 3921 Old Jacksonville Highway, in a Friday afternoon celebration.

Events included appearances and presentations by state and local officials and a ribbon-cutting by the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce.

Bank officials broke ground on the 5,995-square-foot building in May 2007.

Mark Thacker with Sinclair and Wright Architects designed the structure and A.R. Lay Construction Co. supervised its construction.

Ted Conover, Bank of Tyler president, previously said the building represented an investment of more than $2 million.

The bank was housed in a temporary location at the corner of Paluxy and Loop 323 in the Southpark Center.

It will operate as an autonomous division within Huntington State Bank.
