April 23: Supports Corbett
One candidate for mayor of the City of Tyler stands out among those running. She has a proven record of serving all of us professionally, reliably, and with positive response to our concerns. Laura Corbett's experience as a council member and as Mayor ProTem make her the best prepared and best qualified for filling the Mayor of Tyler position.

Her service on the One-half-cent Sales Tax board is one more asset beyond her volunteer participation with Heart of Tyler/Main Street and Historic Tyler. She believes in a sound, business approach to government and in making Tyler's downtown the vital hub that the Tyler 21 Committee endorsed. She believes in preserving the beauty and historic tradition we are blessed to have, while promoting economic growth. As a member of the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce, its board, and its executive committee, Laura has given years of service as a Tyler promoter.

Like the fine candidates who ran for and won the office of mayor in the past, Laura, too, has that invaluable council experience.
