BH Student Accepted To GeoForce Texas Science Program
Brook Hill School 9th grade student, Kenai Walker, has been accepted into the GeoForce Texas Science Program.

GeoForce Texas is a summer program that rewards outstanding high school students, who have a track record of success in mathematics and science, with the opportunity to travel, meet new people and learn about exciting opportunities for careers in the sciences.

Kenai will participate in an all expense paid opportunity for current 10th grade students to travel to several locations of geologic significance in Central Texas including Inner Space Cavern and McKinney Falls State Park.

The students will be led through hands-on activities by UT Austin faculty and staff scientists.

Kenai is one of 40 students to receive this honor.

The East Texas STEM Center at UT Tyler has partnered with the University of Texas – Jackson School of Geosciences to provide this unique educational opportunity.
