On Track With High Scores
JACKSONVILLE - Eleven Jacksonville High School students received the Texas Achievement Award from the Texas ACT Council for their performance on the PLAN (pre-ACT) assessment.

They are: Courtney Wilcox, Matt Lewis, Andrew Melvin, Mary Beth Cundieff, Cameron Nolley, Lana McKinney, Joel Brown, Kristen Cole, Taylor Claiborne, Ruth Staples and Allie Westbrook.

Only 17 percent of the Texas PLAN tested students reached this level of proficiency. According to the ACT Council, these students are on target to meet or exceed the ACT College Readiness Benchmark by graduation.
