UT Tyler Researcher To Head New State Program
Kristian Fischer Trampus, a researcher at The University of Texas at Tyler, will help oversee a state project encouraging girls to pursue math and science careers.

Ms. Trumpus, director of East Texas Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Center at the university, will serve on the Texas Girls Collaborative Project Leadership Board.

This project will bring opportunities in science, technology, engineering and mathematics to girls to promote female participation in STEM efforts at UT Tyler, she said.
