Drillers Plan Multiple Panola Wells
DEVELOPMENTAL

Panola County

  • Goodrich Petroleum will drill the Lutheran Church Well No. 4 and the McKay Gas Unit Well No. 4 in the Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field. The Lutheran Church Well No. 4 is 6.9 miles southwest of Tatum in the Rogers, DF Survey, A-568. The McKay Gas Unit Well No. 4 is 6.6 miles southwest of Tatum in the Barksdale, PC Survey, A-68. Both wells will hit 12,500 feet.

  • The Jeter SWD Well No. 1 will be drilled three miles south of DeBerry in the Panola Field. This well will be drilled to a depth of 5,400 feet by Longbranch Energy. This well is in the Thompson, S Survey, A-6723.

  • The Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field will see the CGU 8 Well No. 16 and the CGU 3 Well No. 19 drilled by Anadarko E&P to 12,000 feet. The No. 16 is 3.8 miles southwest of Carthage in the Witherspoon, AM Survey, A-732. The No. 19 is 2.2 miles northwest of Carthage in the Moorman, A Survey, A-427.

  • Devon Energy will drill the Hall Unit Well No. 15 and the Cavin Unit Well No. 17 to 13,000 feet. The No. 15 is 2.97 miles southeast of Carthage in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. It will lie in the Vaughn, W Survey, A-694. The No. 17 is 15.6 miles northeast of Carthage in the Bethany, East (Cotton Valley) Field. This well will lie in the Jordan, BC Survey, A-348.

  • St. Mary Land & Exploration will drill the Richardson A Well No. 1H in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. This well is 12.7 miles east of Carthage in the English, W Survey, A-194 and will hit 11,000 feet.

  • Lacy Operations will drill the Burnett Unit 2 Well No. 8 and the Parker Unit Well No. 18 in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. The No. 8 well will be drilled in a lease 8.1 miles northeast of Carthage to 9,835 feet in the Thomas Westmoreland Survey A-769. The No. 18 well is in a lease 3.7 miles northeast of Beckville and will hit 10,115 feet and is in the Wm. McFadden Survey, A-443.

  • Craton Energy will drill the Holland Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 4 in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field to 10,250 feet. Location is 1.7 miles southeast of Fair Play in the Morris, W Survey, A-470. This well may also be drilled in the Carthage (Travis Peak) Field.

  • Franklin County

    Atoms Energy will drill the G.B. 038-17 Well No. 17. It is .03 miles southwest of Oakdale in a wildcat field. This well will hit 210 feet in the Fabron, W Survey, A-177.

    Freestone County

  • XTO Energy will drill the Rogers Gas Unit Well No. 9, and the Barnett Gas Unit Wells No. 14 and No. 15 in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. The No. 9 is five miles southeast of Teague in the Hawkins, S Survey, A-689 and will hit 13,500 feet. The No. 14 and the No. 15 are five miles southeast of Teague in the Sasser, W Survey, A-585 and will hit 12,900 feet.

  • XTO Energy will drill The Dobbs Gas Unit Wells No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. The No. 3 is in a lease 3.8 miles north of Donie. No. 4 is in a lease 3.6 miles northeast of Donie. The No. 5 is in a lease 3.8 miles northeast of Donie. The wells will bottom at 9,900 feet in the Bullock, D Survey, A-56.

  • Gregg County

    J-W Operating will drill the A.J. Tuttle Gas Unit Well No. 7H to 15,000 feet in the Rains, PP Survey, A-258. Location is four miles northwest of Longview in the Willow Springs (Cotton Valley) Field.

    Harrison County

  • GMX Resources will drill the Baldwin Well No. 11 to 11,800 feet in the Williams, W Survey, A-757. Location is 10.5 miles southeast of Marshall, in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field. It may also be drilled in the Bethany (Pettit 6170) Field, the Bethany (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field or a wildcat field.

  • NFR Energy will drill the Pilot No. 1 Gas Unit Well No. 7 to 10,200 feet in a wildcat field 8.2 miles southeast of Jefferson in the Watkins, RO Survey, A-752. It may also be drilled in the Woodlawn (Travis Peak) Field or the Woodlawn (Cotton Valley) Field.

  • BP America will drill the Sanders Gas Unit Well No. 5H to 13,500 feet in the Woodlawn (Cotton Valley) Field. Location is 2.8 miles northeast of Woodlawn in the Sparks, SF Survey, A-635.

  • Henderson County

    XTO Energy will drill the Rex Young Gas Unit Wells No. 2 and No. 3 in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field. These wells will hit 12,000 feet in the Rice, J Survey, A-653. Location of the No. 3 will be 3.1 miles southeast of Malakoff and No. 2 will be 3.6 miles southeast of Malakoff.

    Houston County

    A wildcat field will see the Eastham State Prison Farm A Well No. 1 drilled by Cordillera Energy Partners III to a depth of 12,200 feet. This well is 25.5 miles west of Crockett in the Richards, C Survey, A-866. It may also be drilled in the Fort Trinidad, Southwest (Glen Rose-E-) Field, the Trinidad, Southwest (Glen Rose-B-) Field, the Fort Trinidad (Glen Rose) Field or the Fort Trinidad, Southwest (Glen Rose-C-) Field.

    Hunt County

    Atoms Energy will drill the G.B. 037-01 Well No. 1 in a wildcat field to 200 feet. It is 3.63 miles northeast of Greenville in the Balthrop, WF Survey, A-1282.

    Limestone County

  • In a lease 17.1 miles southeast to Groesbeck in the Farrar (Cotton Valley Lime) Field, the Beddingfield Gas Unit Well No. 4 will be drilled by XTO Energy. This well will hit 15,300 feet in the Rejon, MC Survey, A-26 and may be drilled in the Farrar, Southeast (Pettit) Field or the Farrar (Travis Peak) Field.

  • O'Benco, Inc. will drill the Rickard Gas Unit Wells No. 13 and No. 14 in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. The No. 13 is 14.3 miles northwest of Jewett and will hit 13,900 feet. The No. 14 is 15.2 miles northwest of Jewett. Both wells are in the Chavert, JL Survey, A-4 and may also be drilled in a wildcat field, the Navasota (Pettit) Field or the Freestone (Travis Peak) Field.

  • The Personville, North (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field will see the Tom Reynolds Gas Unit Well No. 1 and the Livingston Gas Unit Well No. 4 drilled by Samson Lone Star. The No. 1 is 4.5 miles southeast of Thornton in the Davis, B Survey, A-156 and will hit 12,000 feet. This well may also be drilled in a wildcat field. The No. 4 is 6.5 miles southeast of Mexia in the Varela, A Survey, A-29 and will hit 12,000 feet. This well may also be drilled in the Little Buddy (Cotton Valley Lime) Field, the Little Buddy (Cotton Valley Sand) Field or a wildcat field.

  • Atoms Energy will drill five new wells in a wildcat field. The G.B. M11-16 Well No. 16 and the G.B. M11-16 (second) Well No. 16 will hit 270 feet 3.13 miles northwest of Coolidge in the Jonathan Scott Survey, A-495. The G.B. M11-17 Well No. 17 and the G.B. M11-17 (second) Well No. 17 will hit 270 feet 4.12 miles northwest from Coolidge in the Jonathan Scott Survey, A-495. The G.B. M11-18 Well No. 18 will hit 270 feet five miles north of Coolidge in the Frederick W. Williams Survey, A-582.

  • Nacogdoches County

  • EOG Resources will drill The Jones "A-1" Gas Unit Well No. 6 and the Blount "A-1" Gas Unit Well No. 6 in the Appleby, North (Travis Peak) Field to a depth of 10,200 feet. The Jones "A-1" Gas Unit Well No. 6 is 3.2 miles northwest of Garrison in the Acosta, JJ Survey, A-65. The Blount "A-1" Gas Unit Well No. 6 is 5.6 miles northwest of Garrison in the Benton, N Survey, A-89. These wells may also be drilled in the Appleby, North (Pettit) Field.

  • EOG Resources will drill the Lee "D" Gas Unit Well No. 4, the Blount "A-1" Gas Unit Well No. 8 and the Blount "A-1" Gas Unit Well No. 10 in the Appleby, North (Travis Peak) Field. The No. 4 is 1.8 miles southwest of Garrison in the Acosta, JJ Survey, A-65 and will hit 10,000 feet. This well may also be drilled in the Appleby, North (Pettit) Field or a wildcat field. The No. 8 is 5.5 miles northwest of Garrison in the Villa, JJSurvey, A-576 and will hit 10,200 feet. This well may also be drilled in the Appleby, North (Pettit) Field. The No. 10 is 5.4 miles northwest of Garrison in the Parrott, PJ Survey A-441 and will hit 10,200 feet.

  • Goodrich Petroleum will drill Jean Swain Well No. 2 to 12,500 feet in the Hamil, SH Survey, A-267. Location is 11.3 miles southeast of Nacogdoches in the Gates (Travis Peak) Field.

  • St. Mary Land & Exploration will drill the U.S.A. LB Well No. 2H in the Loco Bayou (James Lime) Field. It will hit 9,000 feet in the Starr, JH Survey, A-541 and is 12.5 miles west of Lufkin.

  • Navarro County

  • The G.B. M6 (second)-01 Well No. 01 will be drilled one mile southwest of Emhouse in a wildcat field. Atmos Energy will drill the well to a depth of 240 feet in the A.K. Brown Survey, A-890.

  • Texas M.O.R. will drill the Chapman Lease Well No. 2 in a wildcat field. This well will hit 1,850 feet and is six miles east of Corsicana in the HG Anderson Survey, k A-17.

  • Red River County

    The Freeman Well No. 1 will be drilled two miles west of Lydia in a wildcat field by C.W. Resources. This well will be drilled to a depth of 8,200 feet in the Wellborn, W Survey, A-925.

    Robertson County

  • In a lease 3.1 miles southeast of Calvert, in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field, the Druery Gas Unit Well No. 1 will be drilled by XTO Energy. This well will hit 13,700 feet in the Hunter, C Survey, A-186.

  • EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) will drill the McLean D Well No. 4 in the John Amoruso (Bossier) Field and the Law Unit Well No. 13 in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. The No. 4 well is 10.8 miles northeast of Franklin with a depth of 19,000 feet in the Pereira, P/Grande, J&M Survey, A-32. The No. 13 well is 4.9 miles southeast of Franklin with a depth of 14,600 feet in the McGee, WH Survey A-220.

  • The Blair, John Well No. 28 will be drilled 12.4 miles northeast of Franklin in a wildcat field by Coronado Energy E&P. This well will hit 13,500 feet in the Owens, W Survey, A-297. It may also be drilled in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field, the Bald Prairie (Travis Peak) Field or the Bald Prairie (Pettit) Field.

  • Rusk County

  • In a lease within city limits of Fort Worth in the Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field, the Railroad Well No. 1H will be drilled by Chesapeake Operating, Inc. This well will hit 9,000 feet in the Gouhenant, A Survey, A-612.

  • Fidelity Exploration & Production will drill the Black Stone Minerals G.U. No. 1 Well No. 17 and the Black Stone Minerals G.U. No. 1 Well No. 18 in the Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field. The No. 17 is 3.41 miles northeast to Minden in the Blanchard, F Survey, A-893. The No. 18 is 3.48 miles northeast of Minden in the Arnold, JR Survey, A-935. Both wells will hit 12,000 feet.

  • The Brady Well No. 4 is being prepared for drilling by Sojitz Energy Venture in the Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field. This well is 3.1 miles northwest of Minden in the Lane, EC Survey, A-490 and will hit 10,700 feet. It may also be drilled in the Field Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field or the Brachfield (Travis Peak) Field.

  • The Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field will see the Viper 3 Well No. 8 drilled by El Paso E&P. It will hit 11,200 feet in the Jackson, TJ Survey, A-15. Location is 4.4 miles southeast of Henderson and it may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • EOG Resources will drill the Adams "A-1" Gas Unit Well No. 9 at a location 3.2 miles northwest of Garrison in the Appleby, North (Travis Peak) Field. It will hit 10,200 feet in the Acosta, J J Survey, A-52 and may also be drilled in the Appleby, North (Pettit) Field.

  • In a lease one mile northwest of Minden in the Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field, the Tufco Gas Unit 1 Wells No. 8 and No. 9 will be drilled by Enduring Resources. These wells will hit 11,300 feet in the Del Rio, S Survey, A-34. They may also be drilled in a wildcat field or the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.

  • The Omie Robertson GU 1 Well No. 6 will be drilled by Valence Operating in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field. Location is 2.7 miles south of Elderville in the Thomas, J Survey, A-767 with a total depth of 13,500 feet. It may also be drilled in the Oak Hill (Pettit) Field, the Oak Hill (Travis Peak) Field or the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) Field.

  • Shelby County

  • The Hilton Well No. 6 will be drilled 8.1 miles southeast of Center in a wildcat field. Noble Energy will drill the well to 13,000 feet in the Buckley, J Survey, A-876. It may also be drilled in the Oliver Creek (Travis Peak) Field or the Stockman (Cotton Valley) Field.

  • BP America will drill the BP Ethridge 971 Well No. 2 in the Stockman, South (Travis Peak) Field. It will hit 13,000 feet in the Ethridge, N Survey, A-971 nine miles southwest of Center. It may also be drilled in a wildcat field or the Stockman (Cotton Valley) Field.

  • Smith County

    The Jasper Gas Unit Well No. 1WS and l No. 2WS will be drilled 2.6 miles southeast of Whitehouse in the Overton (Cotton Valley Sand) Field. The wells will be drilled to 200 feet in the Wagner, J Survey, A-1057 by Llog Exploration Texas.

    Wood County

  • Bluestone Natural Resources will drill the M. Saner Well No. 10 to a depth of 5,500 in the Polk, M. Survey, A-454. Location is four miles northeast of Pine Mills in the Pine Mills, East (Woodbine) Field

  • In a lease seven miles northwest of Hawkins, in a wildcat field, the Magnolia Well No. 1 will be drilled by Pine Ridge Operating. This well will hit 6,500 feet in the Fisher, W Survey, A-209. The well may also be drilled in the Trice (Woodbine) Field.

  • COMPLETIONS

    Anderson County

    The John Royall -A- Well No. 7 is nine miles east of Palestine in the Jarvis Dome Field. Bay-Tech Operating completed the well to 5,121 feet. It flowed with 34 barrels of crude per day, choke size not recorded. Production is in the Woodbine formation.

    Angelina County

  • The Red Land Field has seen the Williams Well No. 1 completed by Southwestern Energy Production. This well is 7.6 miles northwest of Lufkin with a depth of 12,610 feet. It potentialed 2.043 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 29/64-inch choke.

  • In a lease 1.9 miles southeast of Wells in the Raintree Field, the Mabel Sessions Gas Unit Well No. 3 was completed by Goodrich Petroleum. This well bottoms at 12,375 feet and potentialed 844,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 28/64-inch choke. Production is in the Hosston formation.

  • Freestone County

  • The Metzgar Well No. 3 is 4.5 miles northeast of Fairfield in the Nan-Su-Gail Field. This well was completed to a depth of 12,650 feet by Valence Operating. It potentialed 1.503 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • XTO Energy has completed the Foreman "B" No. 1 Gas Unit Well No. 14 in the Freestone Field. This well is 4.4 miles northwest of Donie with a depth of 13,190 feet. It potentialed 2.567 million cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 17/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field.

  • Gregg County

  • There have been three new wells drilled by Geo-Vest of Texas. The Griffin Ranch G.U. 2 Well No. 11 is 4.1 miles east-northeast of Kilgore in the Danville Field with a depth of 10,786 feet. It potentialed 1.150 million cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Travis Peak-Cotton Valley Consolidated formation. The Griffin Ranch G.U. 6 Well No. 10 is 3.8 miles east-northeast of Kilgore in the Danville, East Field with a depth of 10,767 feet. It potentialed 3.690 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 35/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation. The Griffin Ranch G.U. 7 Well No. 6 is 3.8 miles east northeast of Kilgore in the Danville, East Field with a depth of 10,784 feet. It potentialed 1.600 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 21/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • The A.C. Garrett GU Well No. 18 is 10.9 miles southeast of Longview in the Oak Hill Field. It was drilled to a depth of 10,712 feet by Anadarko E&P. When gauged on an adjustable choke, it potentialed 1.970 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Harrison County

  • On a 16/64-inch choke, the North Jonesville "C" Well No. 16 potentialed 603,000 cubic feet of gas per day. This well is two miles northeast of Jonesville in the Waskom Field. Winchester Production completed the well to 9,900 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • GMX Resources completed the Underwood Well No. 2A/2AC in the Bethany Field. The well is 7.6 miles southeast of Marshall with a depth of 6,760 feet. It potentialed 20,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 30/64-inch choke. Production is in the Page Sand formation/Travis Peak Consolidated formation.

  • The Findley Gas Unit "B" Well No. 4 is 2.2 miles east of Woodlawn in the Woodlawn Field. This well was drilled by BP America to a depth of 12,816 feet. On an adjustable choke, the well potentialed 5.581 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • The Waskom Field has seen the Williams, Ireland Gas Unit Well No. 8 completed by Devon Energy. This well is 6.6 miles southwest of Carthage and bottoms at 9,908 feet. On an adjustable choke it potentialed 607,00 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Samson Lone Star has completed the Minnie Bell Gas Unit Well No. 2 in the Bethany Field. This well is 5.5 miles east of Elysian Fields. It potentialed 972,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 30/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Henderson County

    The J.R. Black Gas Unit Well No. 7 is four miles southeast of Malakoff in the Tri-Cities Field. XTO Energy completed the well to 11,835 feet, and it potentialed 2.070 million cubic feet of gas per day on an 18/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

    Leon County

  • Valence Operating has completed the Lewis "B" Well No. 20 in the Farrar Field. This well is 6.3 miles northwest of Jewett with a depth of 14,810 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke, it potentialed 565,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime formation.

  • The King, Gail Well No. 9 is 6.5 miles northwest of Jewett in the Bear Grass Field. This well bottoms at 15,070 feet, drilled by XTO Energy. On a 48/64-inch choke, it potentialed 2.190 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • In a lease 6.5 miles west of Jewett, in the Bear Grass Field, the Holmes "S" Well No. 5 has been completed by XTO Energy. This well bottoms at 15,400 feet and potentialed 1.700 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • Limestone County

  • XTO Energy has completed the Gross, Richard H. Et Al Well No. 7 and the Braselton Gas Unit Well No. 2 in the Freestone Field. The No. 7 is 11.40 miles southeast of Groesbeck with a depth of 13,230 feet. When gauged on a 15/64-inch choke, it potentialed 2.842 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. The No. 2 is 12.4 miles southeast of Groesbeck with a depth of 13,350 feet. When gauged on a 21/64-inch choke, it potentialed 1.072 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation.

  • The Louise Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 2 is 4.50 miles northeast of Kosse in the Thornton, South Field was completed by Sklar Exploration to a depth of 6,500 feet. When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 574,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Rodessa formation.

  • Nacogdoches County

  • The AM Foshee GU Well No. 14 is 2.5 miles northeast of Mayo in the Naconiche Creek Field. Chesapeake Operating has completed the well to a depth of 9,173 feet. This well potentialed 894,000 cubic feet of gas per day on an 18/64-inch choke. Production is in the Rodessa-Travis Peak Consolidated formation.

  • Samson Lone Star has completed the R.H. Frank GU 1 Well No. 5 in the Miyagi Field with a depth of 10,668 feet. This well is five miles west of Nacogdoches. When gauged on a 15/64-inch choke, it potentialed 1.778 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Pettit formation.

  • The Naconiche Creek Field has seen the Strong Gas Unit Well No. 10 and the Temple Inland GU Well No. 8 completed by Chesapeake Operating. The No. 10 is 3.1 miles northwest of Mayo with a depth of 9,192 feet. It potentialed 2.217 million cubic feet of natural gas per day on an 18/64-inch choke. The No. 8 is 5.8 miles northwest of Mayo with a depth of 9,034 feet. It potentialed 960,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 24/64-inch choke. Production is in the Rodessa-Travis Peak Consolidated formation.

  • Samson Lone Star has completed the John Ross GU 1 Well No. 7 in the Douglass, West Field. This well hit 10,428 feet 11 miles northwest of Nacogdoches. On a 20.5/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 2.661 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • In a lease 10.42 miles southwest of Nacogdoches in the Loco Bayou Field, the Mast L.B. Well No. 1H has been completed by St. Mary Land & Exploration. This well bottoms at 9,230 feet and potentialed 6.663 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 64/64-inch choke. Production is in the James Lime formation.

  • The Theresa Kay GU Well No. 1 has been completed in the Gates Field by Goodrich Petroleum. This well is 13.5 miles southeast of Lufkin with a depth of 11,740 feet. On an adjustable choke, the well potentialed 300,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • Panola County

  • Anadarko E&P completed the Fred Kyle "A" Gas Unit Well No. 17, the CGU 12 Well No. 13 and the CGU 3 Well No. 15 in the Carthage Field. The No. 17 is 4.4 miles southwest of Carthage with a depth of 9,525 feet. On an adjustable choke, it potentialed 452,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. The No. 13 is 5.2 miles northwest of Carthage with a depth of 9,908 feet. On an adjustable choke, it potentialed 2.130 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. The No. 15 is two miles northwest of Carthage with a depth of 9,880 feet. On an adjustable choke, it potentialed 1.302 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • The Graves Estate Well No. 14 H has been completed in the Carthage Field by Devon Energy. Location of the well is eight miles southwest of Carthage with a depth of 9,340 feet. This well potentialed 1.497 million cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Maximus Operating has completed the Flanagan Heirs Well No. 1 in the Bethany Field. This well is 21.84 miles northeast to Carthage with a depth of 6,719 feet. When gauged on a three-quarter-inch choke, it potentialed 1.677 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak Consolidated formation.

  • Chevron U.S.A. has completed the Brumble, G.W. Well No. 51 in the Bethany Field. This well is 4.7 miles northeast of DeBerry with a depth of 6,054 feet. When gauged on a 14/64-inch choke, it potentialed 216,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Transition formation.

  • The Fite Unit Well No. 20 and the Mangham Unit Well No. 26 have been completed by Devon Energy Production. The No. 20 well is four miles northwest of Carthage with a depth of 9,759 feet. When gauged on an adjustable choke, the well potentialed 747,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. The No. 26 well is 4.3 miles north of Carthage with a depth of 9,427 feet. On an adjustable choke, the well potentialed 1.177 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Goodrich Petroleum has completed two new wells in the Beckville Field. The Williams, J.K. Well No. 5 and the Williams, J.K. Well No. 4 have been completed in a lease 7.9 miles southwest of Tatum. The No. 5 bottoms at 10,339 feet and potentialed 404,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on an adjustable choke. The No. 4 bottoms at 10,270 feet and potentialed 425,000 cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Robertson County

    In a lease 17.20 miles northeast to Franklin in the Bald Prairie Field, the Biggs No. 1 has Unit Well No. 11 has been completed by XTO Energy. The well bottoms at 13,025 feet and potentialed 1.966 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 14/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

    Rusk County

  • On an adjustable choke, the Tate Gas Unit Well No. 4 potentialed 565,000 cubic feet of gas per day. This well is 3.7 miles northeast of Minden with a depth of 10,700 feet. Enduring Resources has completed the well in the Brachfield, Southeast Field. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • The Dea Lynn Adrian Gas Unit Well No. 2 is 3.24 miles southwest of Long Branch with a depth of 11,435 feet. Cabot Oil & Gas completed the well in the Brachfield, Southeast Field. On a 27/64-inch choke, it potentialed 642,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • In a lease 1.5 miles northwest of Fairplay in the Beckville Field, the Billy Sealey Well No. 5 has been completed by Goodrich Petroleum. This well bottoms at a depth of 10,355 feet. When gauged on an adjustable choke, it potentialed 844,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • When gauged on a 16/64-inch choke, the Hubbard, Frank Well No. 4 potentialed 940,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. This well is one mile east of Henderson in the Minden Field. AC Exploration, completed the well to a depth of 11,209 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • Shelby County

  • The Larcie GU 1 Well No. 1 is 2.5 miles northwest of Tenaha in the Tenaha Field. This well was completed to a depth of 11,446 feet by Samson Lone Star. It potentialed 1.792 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 15/64-inch choke. Production is in the Jurassic formation.

  • The Ester Greer Davis Gas Unit Well No. 1-H is 6.4 miles northwest of San Augustine in the Huxley Field. Hunt Petroleum has completed the well to a depth of 7,459.98 feet. On a 17/64-inch choke, it potentialed 2.816 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the 6100 formation.

  • The Angie Field has seen the Timberstar-Sanford Well No. 1, the Timberstar-Rusk CSL 593 Well No. 1 and the Sustainable Forest LLC Well No. 4 completed by Cabot Oil & Gas. The Timberstar-Sanford Well No. 1 is 11.8 miles southwest of Center with a depth of 7,316 feet. On a 1-inch choke, it potentialed 10.878 million cubic feet of gas per day. The Timberstar-Rusk CSL 593 Well No. 1 is 2.84 miles southeast of Aiken with a depth of 7,102 feet. On a 1-inch choke, it potentialed 116,000 cubic feet of gas per day. The Sustainable Forest LLC Well No. 4 is 11.8 miles southwest of Center with a depth of 7,133 feet. This well potentialed 10.724 million cubic feet of gas per day; choke size not recorded. Production is in the James Lime formation.

  • Hunt Petroleum has completed the Childress, J.W. Well No. 9 in the Joaquin Field. This well is 1.30 miles east of Joaquin with a depth of 8,810 feet. On an adjustable choke, it potentialed 1.444 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • On a 16/64-inch choke, the Hancock Well No. 2 potentialed 910,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. This well is one mile southeast of Stockman in the Stockman Field. AC Exploration has completed the well to 11,400 feet with production in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • The Hawkeye Well No. 2 is 3.5 miles southeast of Center in the Huxley Field. The well was completed to a depth of 10,945 feet by Silver Oak Operating. This well potentialed 2.273 million cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 38/64-inch choke. Production is in the 6100 formation.

  • Endeavor Natural Gas has completed the Rudd 1-R Well No. 1 in the Stockman, South Field. This well is 7.5 miles southwest of Center with a depth of 9,683 feet. On a 20/64-inch choke, it potentialed 962,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • Upshur County

  • The Edwards Well No. 10 is three miles north of White Oak in the East Texas Field. This well bottoms at 3,672 feet drilled by John Linder Operating. This well flowed with seven barrels of crude per day, choke size not recorded.

  • Valence Operating has completed the Castellaw Unit Well No. 2 and the Marshall, T.E. Well No. 1 in the Cedar Springs Field. The No. 2 is 6.8 miles northwest of Ore City with a depth of 12,205 feet. This well potentialed 2.048 million cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke. The No. 1 is 7.2 miles northwest of Ore City with a depth of 12,225 feet. This well potentialed 4.977 million cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lower formation.

  • Van Zandt County

    Jamex Inc. has completed the Kirby Well No. 1 in the Fruitvale, Southwest Field. This well is 3.5 miles northeast of Canton with a depth of 8,584 feet. It flowed with 50 barrels of crude per day, choke size not recorded. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.
