Severe Weather Enters East Texas
Thunderstorms are expected to roll into East Texas tonight, increasing in coverage and intensity as a cold front pushes its way through the region.
The National Weather Service has issued multiple watches and warnings including a Severe Thunderstorm warning for Northwestern Smith County including the city of Tyler until 9:45 p.m.
A widespread Flash Flood warning is also in effect across areas of East Texas.

A Severe Thunderstorm watch has been issued for many counties including Bowie, Camp, Cass, Delta, Fannin, Franklin, Gregg, Henderson, Hopkins, Hunt, Kaufman, Lamar, Marion, Morris, Rains, Red River, Smith, Titus, Upshur, Van Zandt, and Wood.
Large hail and damaging winds are the primary concern associated with this front as well as locally heavy rainfall which may create flooding.
