"I lost the coin flip twice," Jones laughed Wednesday. "It's not my lucky day."
On Friday, Whitehouse (19-2) will make its second consecutive appearance in the Class 4A Region III girls soccer quarterfinals.
The LadyCats, who reached the regional semis last season, will meet Henderson (22-1-1) at 6 p.m. at Lions Stadium in Henderson.
Now, Jones hopes his lucky day will be Friday.
Whitehouse and Henderson, which fell in the regional quarterfinals in 2007, met during scrimmage action prior to the regular season. The LadyCats won 2-1 in Henderson.

"My girls know Henderson," he said. "It's going to be a battle. You want to play the best and beat the best."
In their first two playoff games, the LadyCats outscored their opponents 11-0. In the area round, Lindsay Pritchard had two goals and an assist in a 4-0 victory against Lumberton on Monday.
