TJC Class Donates Supplies To TC Day Care

On Friday students in Rebecca Foster’s sociology class at Tyler Junior College completed a community service project.
For weeks the students have been collecting school supplies to donate to the day care at Texas College.
The Texas College Child Care Development Center serves children 18 months to 5 years.
On Friday, representatives from TC arrived with a pickup and the students loaded it down with packages full of paper, markers and other materials.
Ms. Foster said that for years she has required students to take part in a project to help others.
