Parents Anonymous of Tyler needs volunteers to facilitate classes provided to teens through Partners in Youth, a collaborative program with the City of Tyler Municipal Court. Facilitators work with teens to end disruptive behaviors and change the direction of their lives. Volunteer training is required and an on-site staff person supports volunteers. CASA for Kids of East Texas recruits, trains and supports court appointed volunteers who serve in court as an independent voice for abused and neglected children. CASA needs volunteer advocates for Smith County. Volunteers must complete a 32-hour training program to ensure they are properly equipped to become the voice in court for abused and neglected children.
