Lee Soccer Teams In Action Friday

The Robert E. Lee girls and boys soccer teams will be in action Friday as both look to advance further in the Class 5A playoffs.
The Red Raiders are scheduled to meet Rowlett in an area playoff match slated for 7 p.m. at Tyler Junior College's Pat Hartley Soccer Complex. This is a rematch of last year's area playoff in which Rowlett rallied to defeat Lee, 3-2.
The Lady Raiders travel north to battle Plano East at 7 p.m. at Clark Stadium in Plano.

The Lee girls are currently ranked No. 10 in Class 5A with Plano East ranked No. 7.
Both teams won their bi-district matches in shutout fashion with REL hammering Bryan Adams 8-0 and Plano East taking care of Garland Naaman Forest, 2-0.
