Annual Spring Art Show Opens Thursday

Herb Bryant (above) paints a watercolor at the Penny Nichols Sanders School of Fine Arts on March 14 in Tyler. Bryant is preparing for the Spring Art Show, to be held from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday at the Woman’s Building, 911 S. Broadway Ave., Tyler. The show is an Azalea & Spring Flower Trail event.
The 14th Annual Spring Art Show, presented by Penny Nichols Sanders School of Fine Arts and sponsored by the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce, is scheduled from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday in the reception room and rear patio area of the Tyler Woman's Building, 911 S. Broadway Ave., Tyler.
The show is free and open to the public.
Weather permitting, artists will be giving demonstrations of their skills on the patio. Chances on a painting by Mrs. Sanders will be offered as the door prize.

Visitors are encouraged to browse and visit with the artists," Mrs. Sanders said.
Artists participating in the show are Brenda Brittian, Herb Bryant, Robin Camp, Carol Gernand, Joyce Gillespie, Beverly Ground, Jennifer Holt, Crystal Johnson, Dr. Richard Liptak, Sherry Peek, Jane Peterson, Hope Rehkop, Jo Rowland, Mrs. Sandrs, Betty Shepherd, Sandy Tannery, J.J. Taylor, Helen True and Dolly Walker.
