Nacogdoches County

  • The McDuffie Gas Unit Well No. 6 will be drilled by Chesapeake Operating in the Naconiche Creek (Rodessa-Travis Peak Consolidated) Field. The well is 2.1 miles northwest of Garrison in the Acosta, JJ Survey, A-65. It may also be drilled in the Appleby, North (Pettit) Field, the Appleby, North (Travis Peak) Field, the Naconiche Creek (Cotton Valley) Field, a wildcat field, the Appleby, North (Rodessa) Field or the Appleby, North (Rodessa, Upper) Field.

  • Samson Lone Star will drill the Chelle GU 1 Well No. 1, the Cecil Sparks GU 1 Well No. 9 and the Bradshaw, J. Well No. 1. The Chelle GU 1 Well No. 1 is 12 miles northwest of Nacogdoches in the Douglass, West (Travis Peak) Field. It will hit 12,000 feet in the Brewer, H Survey, A-11. It may also be drilled in the Nacogdoches, East (James Lime) Field, a wildcat field or the Little Ears (Pettit Lime) Field. The Cecil Sparks GU 1 Well No. 9 is 15 miles east of Nacogdoches in the Martinsville (Travis Peak) Field. It will hit 11,000 feet in the YBarbo, JI Survey, A-60. It may also be drilled in the Nacogdoches East (Travis Peak) Field, the Martinsville, Southeast (James) Field, a wildcat field, the Nacogdoches, East (James Lime) Field or the Nacogdoches, East (Pettit) Field. The Bradshaw, J. Well No. 1 is 8.5 miles north of Nacogdoches in the Douglass, West (Travis Peak) Field. It will hit 12,000 feet in the Bailey, H Survey, A-6 and may also be drilled in the Nacogdoches, East (James Lime) Field, the Little Ears (Pettit Lime) Field or a wildcat field.

  • The Gates (Travis Peak) Field will see the SFAAA Well No. 1 drilled by Goodrich Petroleum 8.9 miles southeast of Nacogdoches in the De Torres, P Survey, A-55 to 12,500 feet.

  • Exxon Mobil will drill the Trawick Gas Unit 9 Well No. 9 to 10,000 feet in the Trawick (Travis Peak) Field. Location is 2.8 miles southeast of Cushing in the Bennett, Z Survey, A-9. It may also be drilled in the Trawick (Rodessa) Field, the Trawick (Pettit) Field or a wildcat field.

  • In a lease 2.8 miles southwest of Martinsville, in the Martinsville (Travis Peak) Field, the Cardinals Gas Unit Well No. 5 will be drilled by Fossil Resources to 12,500 feet in the Flores, Hrs V. Survey, A-30. It may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • The Herrera, Manuel Well No. 18 and the North Hayter Trust Well No. 22 will be drilled by Samson Lone Star. The No. 18 well is 14.5 miles east of Nacogdoches in the Herrera, J Survey, A-299. Depth is 10,950 feet in the Martinsville (Travis Peak) Field. It may also be drilled in the Nacogdoches, East (Pettit) Field or a wildcat field. The No. 22 well is 10 miles northwest of Nacogdoches in the De Los Santos Coy, M & Bros. Survey, A-21. Depth is 12,000 feet in the Douglass, West (Travis Peak) Field.   • Angelina County

  • The E.M. Ryan Unit Well No. 8 will be drilled 2.7 miles northeast of Wells in the Raintree (Hosston) Field. It will hit 12,300 feet by EnCana Oil & Gas (USA). It will lie in the Durst, J Survey, A-201.

  • In a lease 6.9 miles northwest of Lufkin, in the Loco Bayou (James Lime) Field, the Kirkland GU Well No. 2H will be drilled by Goodrich Petroleum Co. It will hit 11,000 feet in the Barr & Davenport Survey, A-4.

  • Goodrich Petroleum will drill the Sneed, C.W. GU 1 Well No. 2 in the Raintree (Hosston) Field. It will hit 13,000 feet in the De La Garza, J Survey, A-15. Location is 1.8 miles east of Wells.

  • Cherokee County

  • XTO Energy will drill the Summers Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 2 in the Alto (Pettit) Field 2.3 miles southwest of Alto in the Allison, WF Survey, A-58. This well will hit 12,800 feet and may also be drilled in the Alto (Travis Peak) Field.

  • The Reklaw Gas Unit 3 Well No. 16 will be drilled by Lime Rock Resources A, in the Reklaw (Travis Peak) Field. Location is 8.8 miles southeast of Rusk in the Stanford, T Survey, A-758. It will hit 11,500 feet.

  • The Parker Gas Unit Well No. 2 will be drilled by Cordillera Texas in the Southern Pine (Travis Peak) Field. Location is 13.1 miles west of Rusk in the Gibbs, Z Survey, A-21 with a depth of 12,000 feet.

  • Freestone County

  • The Bear Grass (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field will see the McMahon GU Well No. 5 drilled to 14,000 feet by Samson Lone Star, seven miles west of Buffalo in the Diaz, G Survey, A-178. This well may also be drilled in the Bear Grass (Travis Peak) Field, the Bear Grass, Northeast (Cotton Valley Sand) Field or a wildcat field.

  • The Fulton "A" Well No. 13 will be drilled 2.1 miles southeast of Donie in the Bear Grass (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. It will hit 13,800 feet in the Diaz, G Survey, A-178. XTO Energy may also drill the well in the Bear Grass (Travis Peak) Field or the Bear Grass (Pettit) Field.

  • Gregg County

    The Griffin Ranch G.U. 2 Well No. 13 and Well No. 14 will be drilled by Geo-Vest of Texas. The wells will hit 11,000 feet in the Edwards, H Survey, A-64. The No. 13 is 4.9 miles northeast of Kilgore in the Danville (Travis Peak-Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. It may also be drilled in a wildcat field. The No. 14 is 4.9 miles northeast of Kilgore in the Danville (Pettit-A-Oil) Field. It well may also be drilled in the Danville (Gloyd) Field or a wildcat field.

    Harrison County

  • The Callison Well No. 13D will be drilled 11 miles southeast of Marshall in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field to 11,800 feet in the Smith, W Survey, A-21 by GMX Resources.

  • Winchester Production Co. will drill the Jonesville Well No. 28 in the Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field. Location is one mile northeast of Jonesville in the Dickerson, S Survey, A-222. It will hit 9,800 feet and may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • Chesapeake Operating will drill four wells in the Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field. The Acorn Family Well No. 1H and No. 2H are 16.8 miles northeast of Cleburne in the Harris, JW Survey, A-1072. The Panchasarp A Well No. 2H and No. 3H are 10.9 miles north of Cleburne in the Catlett, HG Survey, A-178. Depth will be 9,000 feet.

  • The Rosa R. Roscoe Gas Unit Well No. 5H will be drilled 9.4 miles southwest of Marshall in the Blocker (Cotton Valley) Field by BP America Production to 13,000 feet in the Mann, W Survey, A-439.

  • In a lease 6.5 miles southeast of Hallsville in a wildcat field, the Carolyn Bell Gas Unit 1 Well No. 10 will be drilled by NEG Operating. It will hit 12,000 feet in the Watson, W Survey, A-748 and may also be drilled in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field.

  • The Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Baldwin Well No. 12 drilled to 11,800 feet by GMX Resources 10 miles southeast of Marshall in the Williams, W Survey, A-757. It may also be drilled in the Bethany (Pettit 6170) Field, a wildcat field or the Bethany (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.

  • Devon Energy Production will drill the Abney, C.M. "B" Well No. 19 in the Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field. Location is 1.1 miles southwest of Waskom in the Blair, JJ Survey, A-100. It will hit 13,000 feet.

  • The Pilot No. 1 Gas Unit Well No. 5 is 7.8 miles southeast of Jefferson in a wildcat field. It will lie in the Watkins, RO Survey, A-752 and will be drilled by NFR Energy to 10,200 feet. The well may also be drilled in the Woodlawn (Travis Peak) Field or the Woodlawn (Cotton Valley) Field.

  • Limestone County

  • The G.H. Longenbaugh Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 7 will be drilled 3.8 miles east of Oletha by XTO Energy. This well will hit 13,670 feet in the Rejon, MC Survey, A-26. It may also be drilled in the Farrar (Travis Peak) Field or the Farrar, Southeast (Pettit) Field.

  • XTO Energy will drill the Blains Creek Gas Unit Well No. 1 in the Farrar (Cotton Valley Lime) Field. Location is 13.4 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the Rejon, MC Survey, A-26. Depth will be 14,000 feet. This well may also be drilled in the Farrar (Travis Peak) Field or the Farrar, Southeast (Pettit) Field.

  • Panola County

  • The Banks, W.R. Well No. 11 will be drilled 1.7 miles southwest of Carthage in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field by Chesapeake Operating to 14,000 feet in the Moorman, A Survey, A-427. This well may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • In a lease 5.8 miles southwest of Carthage, in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field, the Hebert Well No. 22 will be drilled by Devon Energy Production to 12,000 feet in the Hanks, I Survey, A-271.

  • Preston Exploration will drill the S. Gary Well No. 1 in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field 1.9 miles southwest of Gary in the Hanks, S Survey, A-333. It will hit 11,000 feet and may also be drilled in the Carthage (Travis Peak) Field or a wildcat field.

  • The Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Sealey, G.T. Well No. 3 and the Kyle GU Well No. 3 drilled by Goodrich Petroleum. The Sealey, T.G. Well No. 3 is 13.6 miles southeast of Henderson in the Barbee, C Survey, A-71. It will hit 11,000 feet. The Kyle GU Well No. 3 is 14.8 miles southeast of Henderson in the Alred, S Survey, A-27 and will hit 11,000 feet.

  • The Cavin Unit Well No. 16 will be drilled 15.6 miles northeast of Carthage in the Bethany, East (Cotton Valley) Field by Devon Energy Production to 13,000 feet in the Jordan, BC Survey, A-348.

  • In a lease 3.2 miles northwest of Carthage, in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field, the CGU 5 Well No. 16 will be drilled by Anadarko E&P to 12,000 feet in the Moorman, A Survey, A-427.

  • Robertson County

  • The London Well No. 1 will be drilled 8.2 miles northwest of Franklin in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field by O'Benco in the Coulter, H Survey, A-80. Total depth will be 12,800 feet. It may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • In a lease 13.2 miles northeast of Franklin in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field, the Snapdragon Gas Unit Well No. 4 will be drilled by XTO Energy to 15,300 feet in the Maria De La Concepcion Marquez Survey, A-25.

  • Rusk County

  • The Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Keeling Well No. 1 drilled by Enduring Resources 2.6 miles southeast of Brachfield in the Reid, P Survey, A-664. Depth will be 11,300 feet and this well may also be drilled in the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field or a wildcat field.

  • In a lease six miles northwest of Henderson, in the Henderson, East (Cotton Valley) Field, the Harmon Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. and the Harmon Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 12 will be drilled by Forest Oil. The wells will hit 11,500 feet in the Ximenes, J Survey, A-47.

  • Sojitz Energy Venture will drill the White Well No. 2 in the Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field 4.7 miles northeast of Minden in the Brown, JN Survey, A-78. It will hit 10,600 feet.

  • The Minor, A. Gas Unit Well No. 15 will be drilled four miles northwest of Tatum in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field. Energen Resources will drill the well to 11,000 feet in the Lee, Survey, A-17. It may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • A wildcat field will see the Powell Well No. 1 drilled 9.7 miles southeast of Henderson by AC Exploration to 12,000 feet in the Crow, AR Survey, A-216. It may also be drilled in the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field, the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field, the Pinehill, Southeast (Pettit, Lower) Field or the Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field.

  • National Onshore will drill the Powell Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 16 to 12,000 feet in a wildcat field in the Jones, J F Survey, A-461. It may also be drilled in the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field or the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field.

  • The Robert Youngblood GU Well No. 5 and Well No. 6 will be drilled in the Henderson, East (Cotton Valley) Field by Goodrich Petroleum. The No. 5 is 4.3 miles south of Henderson in the Burk, SP Survey, A-136. The No. 6 is 4.6 miles southeast of Henderson in the Piburn, J Survey, A-28. The wells will hit 11,500 feet and may also be drilled in the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.

    Cherokee County

  • The Chronister Heirs Well No. 13 is 5.1 miles north of Wells in the Doyle Creek Field. It was drilled to 12,300 feet by XTO Energy and potentialed 822,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 10/64-inch choke. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • On a 24/64-inch choke, the Armstrong Deep Well No. 1 potentialed 1.020 million cubic feet of gas per day. Location is 21.2 miles northwest of Rusk in the Overton Field. Wagner Oil completed the well to 12,561 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley Sand formation.

  • Freestone County

  • XTO Energy has completed the William C. Glazener Gas Unit Well No. 20 to 12,684 feet in the Dew Field, 1.3 miles southwest of Dew. On a 48/64-inch choke it potentialed 702,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • In a lease 6.4 miles northwest of Teague in the Teague Field, the Wylie Gas Unit Well No. 1 was completed by XTO Energy. The well hit 11,568 feet and potentialed 100,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation.

  • When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the Worthy Well No. 8 potentialed 5.719 million cubic feet of gas per day. Location is 1.9 miles south of Donie in the Bear Grass Field. Anadarko Petroleum completed the well to 14,600 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • Teague Field by XTO Energy completed the Ham Gas Unit Well No. 20, 4.6 miles east of Teague to 12,527 feet. On a 25/64-inch choke it potentialed 2.389 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation.

  • When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke the Evans, A.O. GU Well No. 20 potentialed 982,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Location is 3.6 miles southwest of Dew in the Dew Field. Devon Energy Production completed the well to 12,580 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • Gregg County

    Forest Oil completed the Della Melton Well No. 2H, 1.6 miles from Judson in the Willow Springs Field. Total depth is 10,808 feet. On an adjustable choke it potentialed 3.637 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

    Harrison County

  • Matador Production completed the Elizabeth Well No. 1, 17 miles east of Marshall in the Longwood Field to 10,090 feet. On a 24/64-inch choke it potentialed 117,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • Brammer Engineering completed the Josie Taylor Becker Gas Unit Well No. 3 in the Blocker Field 7.8 miles southwest of Marshall to 10,298 feet. On a 27/64-inch choke it potentialed 2.033 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Forest Oil completed the Blalock CV Gas Unit Well No. 4 and the TJT Minerals Well No. 3. The No. 4 is 4.9 miles southwest of Marshall in the Woodlawn, Southwest Field and bottoms at 10,380 feet. On an adjustable choke it potentialed 842,000 cubic feet of gas per day. The No. 3 is 11 miles southeast of Jefferson in the Carthage, North Field and bottoms at 10,143 feet. On a 26/64-inch choke it potentialed 226,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • The Mobley Gas Unit Well No. 10 is 4.9 miles southwest of Marshall in the Blocker Field and was completed to 11,963 feet by Valence Operating. It potentialed 983,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Henderson County

    The C.L. Leopard Well No. 4 potentialed 1.607 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 20/64-inch choke. Location is 5.9 miles southwest of Athens. XTO Energy has completed the well to 11,638 feet in the Tri-Cities Field. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

    Jasper County

    The BP America A-187 Well No. 1 potentialed 6.030 million cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Anadarko E&P completed the well 4.2 miles southwest of Roganville in the Brookeland Field. Total depth is 14,726 feet. Production is in the Austin Chalk, 8800 formation.

    Leon County

  • A wildcat field saw the Big Bill Simpson Unit Well No. 1 drilled by Clayton Williams 13.2 miles southeast of Buffalo to 19,464 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke it potentialed 723,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day.

  • When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the M.G. Burleson "A" Well No. 13 potentialed 8.568 million cubic feet of gas per day. This well is 5.5 miles northwest of Marquez and hit 13,970 feet. Anadarko Petroleum has completed the well in the Bear Grass Field. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • The Anderson-Bing Well No. 2 is three miles northeast of Buffalo in the Red Oak Field. XTO Energy completed the well to 6,750 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke it flowed with 170 barrels of crude per day. Production is in the Dexter formation.

  • Limestone County

    The Keris Well No. 12 potentialed 282,800 cubic feet of gas per day on a 1-inch choke. It was completed by St. Mary Land & Exploration in the Box Church Field to 7,545 feet. Location is 1.8 miles west of Box Church. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

    Nacogdoches County

  • The Douglass, West Field has seen the Douglass GU 3 Well No. 9 completed by Samson Lone Star 11 miles northwest of Nacogdoches to 10,535 feet. On a 27/64-inch choke it potentialed 1.891 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • The Jackson "E-1" Gas Unit Well No. 7 is 3.7 miles southwest of Garrison in the Appleby, North Field, completed to 10,175 feet by EOG Resources. No test data was recorded. Production is in the Pettit formation.

  • When gauged on a 1.25-inch choke, the Jopling Gas Unit Well No. 7 potentialed 814,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Location is 2.1 miles southeast of Garrison in the Garrison Field. EnerQuest completed the well to 9,150 feet. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • Panola County

  • The Vice Shivers Well No. 2 is six miles south of Tatum in the Beckville Field, no depth recorded. It potentialed 58,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke. This well was completed by Danmark Energy Services. Production is in the Pettit 6800 formation.

  • Jack L. Phillips has completed two new wells in the Carthage, South Field. The Claude Holder Gas Unit Well No. 8 and No. 7 are 3.5 miles west of Clayton. The No. 8 hit 9,908 feet and potentialed 735,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 16/64-inch choke. The No. 7 hit 9,910 feet and potentialed 345,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 16/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • The Carthage Field has seen the Roquemore Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 2-C and the Well No. 2-T completed by Craton Energy Holdings. Both wells are 1.2 miles southeast of Fairplay. The No. 2-C potentialed 603,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 42/64-inch choke. Production is in the Travis Peak formation. The No. 2-T potentialed 1.317 million cubic feet of natural gas per day on an 18/64-inch choke. Depth of both wells is 10,105 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Anadarko E&P has completed three new wells in the Carthage Field. The CGU 20 Well No. 18 is 4.4 miles northwest of Carthage with a depth of 9,765 feet. It potentialed 2.375 million cubic feet of natural gas per day on an adjustable choke. The CGU 17 Well No. 18 is 3.7 miles northwest of Carthage with a depth of 9,845 feet. It potentialed 688,000 cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. The CGU 19 Well No. 16 is 4.6 miles northwest of Carthage with a depth of 9,740 feet. It potentialed 1.429 million cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • The Curry, S. Gas Unit Well No. 4 potentialed 822,000 cubic feet of gas per day and the Taylor Bros Well No. 1 potentialed 486,000 cubic feet of gas per day, both on an adjustable choke. The No. 4 well is 5.6 miles southwest of Tatum in the Beckville Field with a depth of 10,180 feet. The No. 1 well is 15 miles southeast of Henderson with a depth of 10,132 feet. Goodrich Petroleum is the operator. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • When gauged on a 35/64-inch choke, the E.O. Rushing Well No. 4 potentialed 2.742 million cubic feet of gas per day. Location is 1.4 miles north of Joaquin in the Joaquin Field. Classic Operating completed the well to 8,220 feet. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • The Roquemore Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 3 is 1.4 miles southwest of Fairplay in the Carthage Field. It was completed by Craton Energy Holdings to 10,125 feet. On an 18/64-inch choke it potentialed 1.964 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • BP America Production has completed the Carthage Gas Unit 6A Well No. 14 in the Carthage Field to 10,160 feet. Location is two miles northeast of Beckville. It potentialed 1.349 million cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Robertson County

  • In a lease 6.8 miles southeast of Hearne, in a wildcat field, the Margarita Well No. 1 was completed by Clayton Williams Energy to 18,280 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke it potentialed 679,000 cubic feet of gas per day.

  • The Karraker Gas Unit Well No. 1 is 4.6 miles northwest of Franklin in the Bald Prairie Field. XTO Energy completed the well to 13,505 feet. On an 18/64-inch choke it well potentialed 88,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • XTO Energy completed the Doss Gas Unit Well No. 1 in the Bald Prairie Field 2.3 miles west of Franklin to 16,244 feet. On a 14/64-inch choke it potentialed 900,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the Taylor Gas Unit Well No. 1 potentialed 43,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Location is four miles west of Franklin in the Bald Prairie Field. XTO Energy completed the well to 13,825 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • The TXU North Well No. 1 is 8.5 miles west of Bremond in the Bald Prairie Field. Eagle Oil & Gas completed the well to 12,261 feet. On a 16/64-inch choke it potentialed 3.3 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • Rusk County

  • When gauged on a 20/64-inch choke, the Pruitt Well No. A-3 potentialed 2.391 million cubic feet of gas per day. Location is 4.1 miles west of Henderson in the Henderson, East Field. NFR Energy completed the well to 10,985 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • The Moyers "A" Well No. 2 is 7.3 miles west of Henderson in the Henderson, East Field. Chinn Exploration completed the well to 11,275 feet. On an 18/64-inch choke it potentialed 662,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • In a lease 3.4 miles west of Minden, in the Brachfield, Southeast Field, the Purdie Gas Unit 1 Well No. 1 was completed by Enduring Resources. The well hit 11,100 feet and potentialed 462,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • When gauged on a 26/64-inch choke, the Carleton Gas Unit Well No. 2 potentialed 1.122 million cubic feet of gas per day. Location is 2.7 miles southwest of Long Branch in the Minden Field. The well was completed to 10,555 feet by Cabot Oil & Gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • Chesapeake Operating completed the Jane Ross Well No. 1 in the Minden Field to 13,557 feet. Location is 2.3 miles northeast of Mount Enterprise. No test data was recorded. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • The Little Teresa Well No. 2 potentialed 769,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 1.50-inch choke. Location is 1.5 miles north of Garrison in the Naconiche Creek Field. EnerQuest Corp. completed the well to 9,269 feet. Production is in the Rodessa-Travis Peak Consolidated Field.

  • The Overton Field has seen the Emily Kangerga Well No. 1 completed by Greystone Oil & Gas 6.5 miles southwest of Overton to 11,500 feet. It potentialed 215,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 22/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Stroud Petroleum completed the Fletcher Well No. 1 in the Henderson, South Field. The well hit 8,500 feet and is 6.5 miles southwest of Henderson. On a 20/64-inch choke it potentialed 111,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Pettit 7445 formation.

  • In a lease five miles east of Overton in the Oak Hill Field, the Holt Gas Unit Well No. 101 was completed by Buffco Production. It hit 11,200 feet and potentialed 1.423 million cubic feet of gas per day on an 18/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Shelby County

  • The Stockman Field has seen the Wood Unit Well No. 3 and the Noble Unit Well No. 2 completed by Devon Energy Production. The No. 3 well is 9.7 miles southwest of Center with a depth of 12,525 feet. The well potentialed 3.200 million cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. The No. 2 well is 9.1 miles southwest of Center with a depth of 12,495 feet. It potentialed 5.400 million cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Cabot Oil & Gas completed the Timberstar-Perry 932 Well No. 2 in the Angie Field. Location is 9.9 miles southwest of Center with a depth of 7,044 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke it potentialed 14.073 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the James Lime formation.

  • When gauged on a 56/64-inch choke, the E.L. Lowe Well No. 3 potentialed 2.148 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Location is two miles south of Joaquin in the Joaquin Field. Classic Operating completed the well to 8,900 feet. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • Smith County

    The K&ME No. 1 Willingham Daniels Well No. 1 is 7.8 miles south of Tyler in a wildcat field. It was completed by Kraker & Martin Energy to 10,717 feet. On a 20/64-inch choke it potentialed 481,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day.
