BH 3rd Graders Held An "Invention Convention"
On Wednesday, March 5, the 3rd grade students at the Brook Hill School held their “Invention Convention.”
Weeks prior to this date the students researched a famous inventor and wrote a report on him or her.
Students then created a project board to display what they learned about the inventor as well as coming up with their own invention.
This project encouraged the students to think outside the box by creating their own invention.
Mr. Scott Rose of Kelly Community Federal Credit Union presented the awards.
Russell Strickland (1st place winner) received a $100 Kidicate (which earns more interest than a savings bond) and $25 of silver coins for his Kid’s Glasses invention.
Daniel Chambless (2nd place winner) received $50 of silver coins for his Soccer Skill Laser Shoe invention.
Jace Evans (3rd place winner) received $25 of silver coins for his Hot Buns, Cool Buns Seat Cushion invention.
