Mrs. Stanley and Mrs. Barnes’ third grade classes at The Brook Hill Lower School have been working hard preparing for the upcoming Invention Convention.

Each student has chosen a famous inventor, researched that person and their invention and has formulated that information into a research paper and a project board.

Mr. Don Wetzel, the inventor of the ATM machine, came and talked to the 3rd grade classes on February 26, 2008.

The kids were enthralled at meeting a famous inventor and loved asking him questions about the idea, the process and the outcome of his invention.

He told them that anyone could be an inventor. They were inspired by their time listening to Mr. Don Wetzel.
