Jacksonville ISD Holds Internet Safety Seminar
JISD will present "Internet Safety" with Janet Corder on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Jacksonville High School Auditorium.

Ms. Corder currently serves as a vice president in the Texas Computer Education Association and is employed by Carroll ISD as Instructional Technology Coordinator, according to information from Jacksonville ISD.

This seminar will help parents and the community learn about dangers associated with popular networking sites such as MySpace, Xanga and Facebook, gain insight on chat rooms, blogs, cyber-bullying and find out what personal information children may be posting on the Internet.

This is a free seminar and everyone in the community is encouraged to attend.
