Ross Adds Another Ring To Collection
(AP Photo)
NEW YORK GIANTS cornerback Aaron Ross, a John Tyler graduate, chases after New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker.
Call Aaron Ross winner again.

Of course, East Texans knew that already.

The Tylerite has a Super Bowl ring to go with his collegiate national championship he won at Texas.

Ross and his New York Giant teammates kept Tom Brady and the Patriots in check Sunday night in Glendale Ariz. The result was one of the biggest upsets in NFL history as the Giants scored a 17-14 victory in the desert.

Ross, who was credited with two tackles, lined up at cornerback and safety, as the former John Tyler High School standout helped hold down the explosive Patriot offense.

Just as in college when Ross and the Longhorns upset a Southern Cal squad that was hailed by many as the best ever, Ross helped do the same to the previously unbeaten Patriots.

It was a great conclusion to Ross' impressive rookie season in the Big Apple.
